Most picture phones have a store or gallery where photos are kept. Find that, go to the menu, select photo, go to menu again, select 'share' and follow options to share.
I share your frustration with the same machine. Mine is approx 3-4 months old and within the first month i had a leak at the base of the machine which was fixed under warranty. The following month the machine started leaving water in the base of the unit after the wash cycle was complete. LG claim it is an electronic fault in the circuit board. I have refused repair and am now claiming a replacement with them. I don't feel it is acceptable for a machine that's only 3months old to give problems such as these.
If you have any functionality at all left to your touch screen, try to recalibrate it within the settings menu. Otherwise, remove the battery, wait about 15 seconds, then reinstall.
If that doesn't help, the touch-sensitive surface glass has gone out. Apparently, this component in the first-generation Eternity has chronic failures.
Replacing it is not too much trouble for an experienced cell phone technician. But, it's not for anyone who doesn't like to tinker with small things. Here's a video demonstrating the entire process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJpHHs9QM5U.
