SGH-U600 user password forgotten

Remove the battery and the SD card.

Put the battery back in and turn on the device.

Try Menu > Settings > Wi-Fi > Menu > Advanced and uncheck Always allow scanning.

Now you should be able to turn the device off and reinsert the SD card.

Boot it up and your problem might be gone.

• Also try this if the above mentioned doesnt work
• You could remove the SD card, backup the data, put it back in the phone and try reformatting it via Settings > Storage > Format SD card .
• If it's stuck in a boot loop and you can't get in to the main menu, you could factory reset the Galaxy Note 3 using the hardware buttons (but you will lose all data on it). Back up first if you can, and then:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume up, Home, and Power buttons.
3. When you see the Galaxy Note 3 logo, let go of Power.
4. When you see the Android System Recovery screen let go of Volume up and Home.
5. Press Volume down to highlight wipe data / factory reset.
6. Press Power to select it.
7. Press Volume down to highlight delete all user data.
8. Press Power to select it and wait until it's done.
9. Highlight reboot system now and select it with Power and your device will reboot.

This tip will explain how to remove the write protect from your SD Card.

This is a easy fix and won't take a minute.

First remove your SD Card from your device. You will see on the side of the SD Card that there is a small switch. If your SD Card complains about being write protected simply put the switch in the opposite position. Some of the SD Cards even have the word LOCK on near the switch indicating the direction the switch must be to LOCK the card.



Once the switch is changed you can put the SD Card back into your device and the problem of write protection would be solved.

I would load all the data onto your computer, make sure its saved,!!! then reset the card in your phone,
(I am thinking you removed it to work with it on your computer?)
or save the files to your phone memory (maybe a friends since yours wont recognize it), remove the card, confirm they are still on the phone and then do your card,
Or you could send files to another location, reformat card then send back to yourself,
I am quessing you only have one card and it did not get mixed up with others.
Back-up and confirm is the key.
Remember Tomorrow is the day you might lose your phone and a stranger finds it.

You should be able to reset by turning on the phone without the SIM card inside, entering *2767*2878# and waiting for the phone to reset
