First go to the address bar and type in the default ip address of this router: IP address is 192.168.0.1
Then open this link for instructions on programming the wireless security settings.

Go the router setup page, 192.168.0.1, type admin as the user name and password as the password (default, if you have changed these use your login info).
Then on the wireless page change the SSID (router name).
You can also add a security key on this page.

Type 192.168.0.1 (you can type the router address if you have changed) and enter on browser's addressbar. Router's interface will appear. Click on SETUP and Click on the WIRELESS SETTINGS at left side. on the page you will see the option of WIRELESS SECURITY by drop down menu you can choose the Security mode that you wish. here is the link for the emulator http://support.dlink.com/emulators/wbr1310_revB/wireless.htm
