How to post vid on sony nw-a808

I saw alot of post about how to put vid on the sony nw-a808 so here

i am using Xilisoft HD Video Converter program still to convert BUT this time you need to pick the BLACKBERRY SETTING (MPEG-4) which makes the file abcdefg.MP4 INSTEAD of using sonicstage or any software all you do is need to goto my computer then open the drive that ur player is in so for me, my f: drive then make a new folder labeled Video ... then put all the converted files in the folder so all the video ( .MP4) files

ummm u can try what im doing because its working perfect for me i have converted around 20 vids all perfect so here
i use Xilisoft HD video Converter (if u need i can send you just email me) i have cdkey too ... but yah while in the program i use the blackberry setting so that the screen is just the right size not to big or small color n everything is fine and yah if nething else u can just ask me hope this helps

Hi,Convert the video to MP4, plug in the Walkman to your pc/laptop and drag & drop the video into the video folder.
I use WMconverter.

This player is pretty specific about the bitrates/formats of MP4's it will accept: It will accept MP4 SP and MP4 AVC Only two bit rate options: 384 kbps vid/128 kbps aud.; or 768 kbps vid./128 kbps aud. There cannot be any kind of copy protection on the MP4's The Media Manager doesn't actually convert the video files - you will have to use an outside converter such as Arcsoft Media Converter or Riva FLV Encoder - make sure you get a program that will allow you to specify exact bit rates.

if u still need the answer here....

im using sonic stage to put stuff onto the MP3 player but to put vids on im usings (Xilisoft HD Video Converter) to convert whatever video i wanna put on my mp3 BUT you need to make sure u covert the file to M4A MAKE SURE OF THIS ... i have tried mp4, avi, blah blah and NOTHING ELSE WORKS but M4A does n it works PERFECT =) so yah u can either use the program i use to download anyother converting program as long as it will convert to M4A lik avi to m4a n blah blah blah okay hope this helps because it helpd me n i can put vids on now thank you

cant put anything onto my sony walkman

Go to the sony site and download sonic stage, at least you will be able to put music on it. If you want to use it for video you will need to contact sony to get a copy of image converter 3
