Tip & How-To about Apple iPod touch

How to connect an iPod to a speaker Yamaha Bar

Yamaha speaker bar is a long, thin speaker system that is typically connected to a television because she can sit on the set. However, many people store their music libraries on iPods, and if you want one of those people you can connect your iPod directly to the Yamaha speaker bar. This is a fairly simple task that can be achieved in just a few moments.

1. Place the iPod in the iPod speaker dock from Yamaha as a bar, or connect your iPod through your door in the background that comes out the opposite. Depending on the model, the speaker dock or a bar directly above the control panel or a cable that runs from the back of the unit.

2. Power bar speaker Yamaha, do the same with your iPod.

3. Choose your music to play through the iPod screen. Press "Play" and you should listen to music through the speaker bar.

KEF T301 Satellite Speakers. I can't get these to work is there a secret to these wall mount speakers?

Question edited for clarity and all the typos.

The Yamaha receiver has to have a sound source and the speaker wires connect the two together. Receivers often have a a switch for Speaker set 1 and Speaker set 2, so you can send the music to two different rooms. Make sure you are on the correct set.

These are supposed to be standalone television speakers by the looks of it connected to what they call an 'AV Processing Unit', I would guess more commonly called a Surround Sound Theatre System. Expensive speakers at $900.

Mitsubishi 55" Rear Projection - No sound and volume bar continuosly displayed

First unplug the a/v receiver and then check tv to see if the audio output is on or internal speakers. With the a/v rec. you should have chosen the variable audio and not leave on int speakers. If this does not work unplug set for at least an hour and try again. You can get additional info from www.ctechnicians.com
