Hello try to rebind your transmitter and esc, check your antenna to see if it's broke ,double check and make sure your batteries are fully charged on truck and transmitter,if that all checks out you may have a bad esc or transmitter. let me know what your results are thanks M.B.

Check the throttle servo linkage to make sure it is not damaged or binding. Also make sure that the throttle servo is going back to neutral position and did not get damaged.

how new is the truck...if its still brand new the motor usally needs a break in time or a rich fuel so that the piston and sleeve seat properly...or if it was run too lean for too long the sleeve needs replaced...or carb settings we will work through what we can..to get it going..

Maibe the batterys r dead for the truck and or remote

Sounds like an internal gear problem with the transmission. I would remove the transmission and open it up, anything that is broken will be easy to spot. All of the parts are available at a local hobby shop or from Traxxas directly.

Change your clutch shoes and spring, if shoes are still good,then just the spring

if you cant turn the engine over with the pull starter, you have locked up the engine by running it too lean and hard, a rebuild is in your future

i always gave mine half throttle for 2 pulls, attatched the glow plug batt, and bam, started right off next pull

loosen the tension on the slip clutch

i had one of these, and it is easy to blow the motor, I was very careful when breaking it in when new, it really hauled, my friend also bought one, he was not so careful (wanted to race it right away) and he blew his engine, it started doing the same things you describe, he sold his to me, I rebuilt engime, it ran good as new until the day I sold it. you can purchase a new cylinder, crank, & piston at hobby town last I knew

i just had this problem with my tmaxx 3.3,was driving it and heard a pop and no more drive,would justroll a bit at a time while the rpms were racing higher and higher.looked at everything and looked fine.took the transmission apart and looked fine also.tried to hold the spur gear to see if it was strong with turning the tires,could feel a slip with it as i turned it,there is a pin that holds the gear to the shaft and it broke inside the gear replaced all is good now,happy racing

Check to make sure you don't have a bad servo. When you pick it up the wheels will spin just do to the amount of power the little engine is putting out. Put when you pull the trigger do they go faster? If not then the check these1. make sure your trims are set correctly on the remote2. you are on the right frequency - usually there are 3 settings..frequency can be checked by making the tires move side to side also.3. if you have the trim set right, and the right frequency then you may need to replace the servo

There may be an air lock in the fuel line or fuel pume.Pour some fuel in the carby and start the engine. You may need to do this a few times to get the air lock out of your fuel line/pump.

You want there to be some smoke........if it isn't smoking then you are to lean. If the smoke is heavy, then you are to rich. Keep more of an eye on the temperature of the engine as it will do more damage if left unchecked.

Try replacing the glow plug. Make sure that it is seated properly and that all connections are good, strong and tight. Also make sure that you have a good seal on the combustion chamber, and that there are no leaks or restrictions in the intake or exhaust. Hope this helps

Assuming the transmitter is still set correctly then the problem is either your receiver is defective or your throttle servo is defective and/or both. Don't start the engine but switch the servo wires. If the switched servo now doesn't work then your receiver is bad, if it does work then the other servo is bad. Good luck

The truck is overheating. Try using a fresh new battery pack.
