My table yop pacman has a wierd noies coming out of speakers and my screen is scramble

It is a bad socket connection at one of the plug-in boards mounted on the main cpu board, usually. The 40 pin sockets of old are pure ****, and need to be replaced with machined-tooled sockets. Worst case would be the one of the two plug-in boards have gone bad.(kind of rare) Sometimes, the sockets for the Eprom chips can be bad, too.

I have a new Ms

PDF Manual at the link below.

http://www.namco.co.uk/PDF-manuals/namco-america-manuals/ms%20pacman%20galaga%20cocktail.pdf

Their should be a switch inside to activate the Test Menu.

Once in the Test Menu you need to go to '3 General Adjustments' and change the 'Credits To Start'.

You'll also need to select how many credits each coin is worth.

My ms pac man table lost power from an electical

Hello.

From FixYa Support:

If you have the stand up style, look for the switch inside the coin door to enter the diagnostic menu. Then, restore the factory settings. This could wipe out anything you have saved.

Hope this helps.

My MsPacman/Galaga upright has power but screen is black(blank)

I'm assuming this game cabinet was built in the 80's. More than likely, the monitor is an Electrohome GO-7. If this is the case, replace capacitor C511 on the monitor board. It has baked open due to old age. Usually, capacitor kits can be purchased for around 10 bucks, so you might want to replace all the caps on the board at ths time. Worst case scenario would be that the Flyback transformer has smoked (usually you'll see a crack on the side of the transformer), causing the horizontal output transistor to cook and also the smaller of the two pigtail fuses to blow. In this case, you would have to replace the Flyback transformer, the horizontal output transistor, and the small pigtail fuse associated with it. Remember to always discharge the second anode( the suction cup thingy on the side of the tube). It will hold a substantial charge on it. Also, if the small pigtail fuse is blown, you will need to discharge the large cap on the monitor board, or else it will knock you on your rear-end when you try to replace the blown fuse. Hopefully, you'll will only have to replace one cap. C511. If your game does not have an electrohome monitor, I can still help, if you provide the manufacturers info, such as Well Gardner model 7204, or something like that. Good luck!

Upright Ms. Pacman video game has really small screen?

if you're good at soldering, you can replace a few things on the monitor's main board. puffy capacitors (look like cans) especially. but before you do so, you'll need to discharge the crt tube by running the stored charge (up to 20,000 volts dc) straight to a ground source. it's a big deal and it's dangerous if done incorrectly, so you might want to leave it to the professionals. now might be a good time to change to a lcd monitor.

PACMAN GALAGA COCKTAIL TABLE

Use the joystick controller's right and left to select options, and then use either one of the buttons to make your selection. The button with 1 human stick figure next to it is the Player 1 button, and the one with two stick figures is the Player 2 button. Unless the defaults were changed on that machine, 1 quarter is required for 1 player and 2 quarters are required for two players. I haven't used one of these machines since the original from 1982 to 1986. I can't believe it, but Namco actually has put a PDF of the service manual for this unit on their website:
http://www.namcoamerica.com/games/pacman/downloads/ms%20pacman%20galaga%20cocktail.pdf

Have fun! I would love to have one of these on day.

I BOUGHT A PAC MAN MACHINE THAT THE MONITOR STOPPED WORKING ON. EVERYTHING ON THE MACHINE WORKS EXCEPT i CAN'T SEE ANYTHING ON THE TUBE. I WOULD LIKE TO FIX MY MACHINE

If this is a CRT type of arcade video game, it most likely uses an old-school flyback transformer, and a bunch of electrolytic capacitors. Check for cold or dry solder joints on all the boards (with the unit unplugged), and retouch any suspicious ones; especially the pins on the flyback, the CRT neck board/socket (if applicable) and in the power supply sections, where heat may be generated. Also check to see if the filaments light up in the CRT neck. It's also a good idea to check the caps in the power, horizontal and video sections as well - look for bulging or ruptured electrolytics, and/or burned resistors. Some arcade games (e.g. Asteroids) use a HV diode rated at around 25-30kV (it is located near the flyback and may have an insulated plug at each end). These can crack, short or simply go open circuit producing a "no display" symptom. If your game has this, check it before condemning the flyback or caps (the diode also doubles as a HV fuse). Do all the basic checks/visual inspections that you can thoroughly first before going any further with repair and/or restoration. It could be something really simple and easy to fix and/or obtain parts for (at reasonable cost if necessary).
