The track layout is simple enough,there are 12 straight peice of tracks and 12 curved tracks. So you can make it one big circle and not use the straight tracks or add 1-6 on each sidewith straight track and you'll have a long oval. Or have 1-4 on each side then add 1-4 after the third curved track of each circlular end to have a big type oval style.Some lites lite up right when you push the power switch on and the remaining lights will work once the train is in motion.

then you will realise why it does not worth to someone sell only the parts you need since you can buy the whole unit at this prices. So you should think to buy a whole unit and if you love the one you already have you can transfer all the parts you need and have also some spares.

yes just look at the boot sales or flea markets ,find a 9v charger with correct end on ,or visit the local chinese emporium and no b?doubt you will find a charger in their of 9v its a fairly common voltage ,9.6?? well 9v will do it fine ,or even a 12v one but dont leave it connected for any length of time

The (production) toys come with a complete board and you would have to buy another toy with a different frequency and switch it as there are no aftermarket parts/crystals for sale on Department store toys. You could fine a broken one and switch the remote/electronic in the car. The 2 frequencies are 27mhz/49mxz so if you have one its the other you need. If you purchase a hobby car from a hobby store you can buy a set of different frequency cristals for about $20-$40 And switch them and even for replacement as they go bad from time to time..
