I haven't used my razor scooter in years. I just bought a charger and it seem like it is charging but it keep saying it is on low. I twisted the gas thing and it is making a noise like it want to go. But I am not sure I have charge it for 12 hours now. Do I need a battery or is it just taking it time to charge.

it opens from the rear and flips forward

remove seat then remove four screws on compartment underneath, then unclip battery and remove

check the chain for broken links, if there are any broken ones walmart sells a tool in the bike section to replace broken link for around $5 if there are no broen links check the sprokets for any broken pieces, otherwise you might just need to loosen the bolts for the rear wheel and have someone pull it tight while you retighten it

battery must be bad, there are two 12v batteries wired in series under the seat one or both of them must bad bad so it is not able to supply enough power to the motor. remove the seat cover and visually inspect the batteries and see if one or both of them are bulged

Possible that the charging circuit is faulty as it cuts off before the limit can be reached. You can remove the battery and make sure that the contacts are good. If the battery is more than a year OLD then it might be weak and will not pick up charge or take in more CURRENT so as to trip off.
So please check the voltage and if possible connect an ammeter( use multimeter) to monitor the charging current and if this is high , you must have the battery charged externally.

Definitely a sign that the battery is in need of replacement. Those machines need them about once a year depending on use weather conditions. If you store it inside or like conditions they may last longer.

This indicates the clutch is bad. The clutch can spin the wheel due to inertia, but once the weight of the bike is on the ground your clutch will not fully engage. Sorry, but it may need to be replaced or rebuilt. Hope this helps Fix Ya up.

Could be the Spark plug or Fuel

Use a wedge. Place the thin end between the tire and rim. Then push the tire off using the wedge and your other hand, work your way around the circumference of the tire until it is off. Use the same process to put the new tire on. But this time you will push the tire on the rim.
