Try a new phone. If that doesnt work, the port in the system is bad.

When you reprogrammed, did you do #505, group 7 to tell the phone system what ports the voicemail was? The voicemail is picking up because the ports are set to ring (which gets turned off, when you tell the system those are voicemail extensions by using #505)

If there were phones that were paged before, my guess is that they were in a calling group, then there were buttons set to page the calling group. (Intercom *72, 73, 74, etc) Intercom *70, pages overhead as well as the phones in group 1 (71)

Which voicemail is it?
If you log into voicemail, it will tell you...."Welcome to Partner...."

When you get that figured out, let us know.

Changing the time on a Partner system must be done from extension # 10 or 11. 1. At station(Ext.10 or 11) press feature, 0, 0
2. Press the left intercom 2 times
3. Enter # 103
4. Enter the correct time in 24 hr. format, for example:
* to set the time for 09:00 A.M., enter 0900
* to set the time for 04:45 P.M., enter 1645
5. Press feature, 0, 0

Log into admin mailbox, you can reset it there.

Do you have a "Log" button programmed on your phone? I the answer is no, then no, you can not retreive old calls.

You can program the system to do so, moving forward, but this will not bring calls back that were already missed.

Changing the time on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11. At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
enter in "#103"
the display should say system time and the current programmed time
enter the new time in 24 hour format
press feature "00" to logout

If you have a Partner ACS, you need to set up programming in #317, 318, and 319. Do that FOR ALL PHONES AND ALL LINES ON THOSE PHONES. Lots of tedius programming

Once done program a log button on the phone (feature 23)

You can either use feature 03 (recall) or program a button for recall by pressing feature 00, then the button you want to be recall, and pressing feature 03. press feature 00 again to exit programming.

Then that dual jack is just a loop of the other wire feeding the other extension. That is how it is supposed to work.

You will need to run a new wire for the new extension.

Is the time and date correct on your phones?

Usually this means that the system has lost programming, and when a call rings in, the voicemail picks up. The system will need to be reprogrammed from scratch. The voicemail boxes and messages will still be there, but the phon system doesnt know where the voicemail is until its programmed.

First of all, do you have a password to the admin mailbox? It is 4321 by default...if you're talking Partner MAIL or VS. Start by looking at the phone system and the cards in the slots. A VS is a PC card in the processor slot, a Partner mail is one of the cards in the system with part numbers and designations.

From the admin box, you can remove and add VM boxes. That's the quickest and easiest way to clear it out.

Look around for an 8 1/2 by 11 book about 1/2 inch thick. It's the manual to a 4.1 Partner Mail. It will have worksheets in the back of the book on how to set up the Auto Attendant and selector codes (routes for digits dialed).

On the processor there is an RCA jack, unplug that. That is the music on hold plug.

Call your distributor. I dont remember hearing anything about a bad batch. I think Partner phones only have a 1 year warranty, but maybe it is longer....

The phone has no battery. The ACS processor has 2 AA batteries on the bottom of the card.
