Not a real suggestion for solving your mouse problem but you can

Have you tried changing the av settings on the tv? It wasn't working with my tv because I had plugged the av cords into the side of my tv but didn't change the av setting to read it. The av outlets on the back of the computer were linked to channel 4, but the side ones were linked with av1 or av2.

Make sure there is nothing blocking the path between the keyboard and the console. It needs line of sight to work properly. If this doesn't help; I'm sorry. This fixed my problem with the same issue.

You can buy expansion packs that have other characters like Dora, more Scout etc. I'm not exactly sure what other characters they have or if they have Diego or Cars.

The console connects to the red, white, and yellow av plugs located usually at the back, sometimes on the side, of your tv. Typically this will be linked with channel 4, but could also be another av selection depending on your tv.

Most of the time if the mouse doesn't move it is because there is not line of sight between the keyboard and the main unit. If that is not the problem then I'm sorry that I couldn't help but that usually solves the problem for me.

have you tried the av button on tv remote?

Maybe try plugging in an adapter instead of the batteries. There could be a wiring problem with the battery terminal.

are you sure you have the keyboard near enough and pointing towards the computer unit. As it is said that it works wirelessly (which obviously is correct as there are no wires) but this normally means wi-fi which can be moved anywhere however the clickstart works with the very unreliable infa red so the unit needs to be close and pointing towards the keyboard. hope this helps

Try pressing the on/off button to turn it off. I had a same problem. I depressed the on/off button for ~6 second or so and the device turned off. When I turned on again, the LeapReader no longer had a white light and was recognized by my computer.

Enter 1111 and it will say oops wrong password then enter 419 backspace and get rid of the 9 and then 27 worked like a charm took forever to find one that worked and this one worked for me once in change the 4 digit code to something ez

my leap pad ultra is at that part of turning off wher their is only a dot of wite left on the screen.it is still doing that and it has been at least 2 hours since i played it. it wont turn on either now.i am a kid sorry if their are spelling errors
