I have had the same problem with my LX 50. You have to make sure you turn it on often to keep it in good shape. I didn't turn it on for a long time during the winter and it didn't wanna start in the spring. I bought a fluid that you put in the gas tank that cleans off the insides when the gasoline runs through. I have to double check what fluid it was. But it worked and now it turns on.

Installing your Chicco KeyFit car seat correctly is essential in keeping your infant safe. You can use the Chicco KeyFit car seat for children from 4 pounds to 30 pounds. You can install the car seat in your vehicle using one of two options. Instructions

1. Vehicle Belt
   • 1 Park your vehicle on a level surface to ensure the car seat is installed in a level position.
     
   • 2 Store the LATCH connectors if you use a seat belt to secure the car seat. LATCH is a child restraint attachment system that comes in a number of cars manufactured after Sept. 1, 2002. Lift up on the LATCH release lever and pull the LATCH connectors out of their storage pockets. Insert the LATCH connectors into the storage pockets, pull the LATCH strap to secure them, and then roll up the pull strap and tuck it in the storage pocket.
     
   • 3 Place the base of the Chicco KeyFit car seat in a forward facing vehicle seat with the recline foot against the back of the seat.
     
   • 4 Push the recline buttons on each side of the base while lifting the base to adjust the base angle. The base is positioned correctly when the bubble is between the arrows on the recline indicator on the side of the base.
     
   • 5 Insert the vehicle belt through one opening in the base, across the base and out the other opening.
     
   • 6 Push the base firmly down and pull on the vehicle belt to tighten the belt.
     
   • 7 Slide the vehicle shoulder belt into the shoulder belt lock-off on the side of the base. You should put the belt only in the shoulder lock-off on the opposite side of where the seat belt buckles.
     
   • 8 Check to make sure the seat belt is tight, the base is stable and the bubble on the recline indicator is between the arrows.
     
   • 9 Line up the carrier with the base and push the carrier firmly into the base. You should hear a click when it is secure, but pull up on the carrier to make sure it is latched.
     
   LATCH
   • 1 Park your vehicle on a level surface for proper installation.
     
   • 2 Lift the LATCH release lever and remove the LATCH connectors from their storage pockets.
     
   • 3 Place the base in a forward facing vehicle seat with the recline foot against the back of the seat. Follow Step 4 in Section 1 to set the angle of the base.
     
   • 4 Push the LATCH connectors firmly onto the LATCH anchor bar in your vehicle. You should hear a click when they are attached, but you can make sure they are secure by pulling on the straps. The Chicco KeyFit car seat is designed for use with lower LATCH anchors that are 11 inches apart. Verify the spacing in your vehicle in your owner's manual.
     
   • 5 Press the base of the car seat down and pull up on the LATCH pull strap to tighten the LATCH belts. Tuck the pull strap into its storage pocket and attach the carrier.

LAst time I tried - no spare Chicco parts were available - when its worn out - then its worn out - its a shame but times change!

The straps for Mamma are currently not available for sale on the Internet. All you find are requests from buyers that need replacement straps.

Straps for Polly and happy snack are commonly available , from third party sellers or distributed by Chicco.
The harness for the Polly high chair is a 5 points harness very similar to chicco Mamma.
To test if the happy snack harness will fit you can go to a Chicco Shop, taking along the Chicco Mamma cover, and compare the holes in the cover with the Happy snack or Polly's one, then if it does fit, you can order the replacement harness at the shop, they will be happy to help.

All I can tell you is that all over the Internet there is NOT one single Chicco Mamma harness available for sale. Only the cover or the harness for different models.
If the Polly or Happy snack harness does not fit , then the only alternative is looking periodically on Ebay, or keep calling Chicco until someone decides to send somebody to look into the old replacement parts stored somewhere in a warehouse.

I hope this can help. This research wasted a lot of time, and I decided to post the same, even if the harness is not available. Hope not to get any negative rating.
