try jumpering the battery directly to the motors to see if the motors spin, if they don't then replace the motors as needed, if they do spin, then use a multimeter and check for 12 volts at the motor wires when the accelerator is pressed, if its showing no volts then work your way back to the shifter switch and check for volts, then to the foot pedal to find where the power isn't getting through then replace components as needed

peg perego has a known issue on these due to bad circuit board, contact them to get replacement

sounds like the battery is getting old, and possibly the brushes on one or both of the motors is bad

take the seat off and switch the wires around on the motor

pop off the center cap with a flat head screwdriver from both rear tires and then use 2 13mm wrenches to remove the bolts from both sides then pull off the tires

i use a auto trim tool to pop off one of the plastic screws from the side then you should be able to lift the cover enough to inspect the connections. keep in mind there is also a fuse on the exterior of the battery that might be blown

The higher wattage for the larger battery! Only difference is that the lower 11watt will be a little bit Slower to charge

A peg perego battery typically charges for 8-12 hours. Though in the short run it won't hurt to leave the battery plugged into the charger after the light on the charger turns green, it could wear out the battery if you do this continually.
