My radio wont work in my 97 chevy cheyenne
The unit does not turn on at all? No lights, no clock? I know you checked the fuse but did you check for a physical +12v on both the power wires and verify the ground is grounding? If all your wires are verified then hopefully you're still under warranty. This is a pretty low-cost unit and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.If you are getting lights etc. on the unit but no sound, chances are your internal amp transistors are blown. Not worth repairing but you can usually use the external am outputs with an amplifer to keep going.

GM has a problem with their fuel pressure regulators leaking . Since it is under the intake manifold, it adds extra fuel to the cyls. Also make sure the fuel pressure is within specs.
Bad o2 sensor
Does the code say bad rich or lean? If rich, you may have a bad fuel regulator located under the intake manifold. If lean, a bad vacuum leak, but since there is a smell of gas it probably is rich.

Sparks from wires ina 1995 g20 van
Do the wires spark only when the engine is running? If so the problem could be from the ignition spark plug wires. If they spark with the engine off, then you have a wire loom problem with a wire shorting to ground where you see the spark Tape it up
