look under the lid or in your owners manual swap it with the horn, ac compressor, or cooling fan relay, temporarily and see if it works then, if it does be sure to replace the bad one

if the bulbs light, replace the flasher, if not, test all the bulbs and the sockets weather they work or not

NO,,,,,, once you use the unit it will draw the dirt right back in best to use a vacumm or blow air backward through the system to clear debris they are so hard to get at,,, it's tough

check for a crack in the coil, that vehicle should nearly run under water and is the most water resistant vehicle ever built run it while dry and squirt water from a bottle until you find the bad part

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 counter clockwise rotation

because there is no power to the ECM, only with the key in the run position will it have power

mangle it out of there delicately as to not mess up the column, and or key reader if applicable, if there is a chip in the key, remove the steering wheel and then the reader first yours may have a small screw type bolt or long set screw that you remove right there also and the lock cylinder just slides out there are special tools used to remove the retaining clip from the steering shaft that holds the steering locking plate since it is all spring loaded,

HEI system? if any other on that truck, there is no adjustment that can be made

If you plan to permanently ruin your trans use the liquid glass if it is a new transmission and leaking right from the start, there's most likely nothing you can do other than replace the torque converter support bearing behind it and the seal , if its been rebuild, I have seen the pump bolts loosen due to improper torque and the symptoms are the same and no sealer will work, if its been a good trans and just needs some help, give it a fluid change with a new filter and add lucas trans seal and anti slip to the system and you should be fine in no time, maybe even another 10K miles.

1: Low battery voltage 2: mis-aligned starter requiring shims 3: mis-aligned starter that has to many shims 4: bad engine ground 5: incorrect ring gear, (may have been changed with flywheel during clutch job 6: damaged pilot bushing in crankshaft, or incorect bearing installed during clutchjob 7: the wrong clutch altogether, I've seen that happen before, it may be to large or wrong shape and touches the bell housing, make sure you can turn the engine by hand while someone else completely engages the clutch, if the vehicle tries to move while clutch engaged and you turn the engine, there is a problem that can only be remedied by removing the trans and finding it.

Change the filter and fluid.

This is a typical GM starter, the powermaster label is on the solenoid There is full battery voltage to the large bolt on the back of the solenoid at all times, running or not, when positive voltage is applied to the small bolt on the back of the solenoid the starter engages the bendix gear and then the starter motor runs, spinning and turning your engine over

check for spark, if no spark then check cap and rotor,if the cap is bad be careful because you can blow the muffler right off your truck if raw fuel is in exhaust system.i've seen more bad caps than coils but coils do go out.good luck,mike

The white wire will only have voltage in the Off (bulb test), Run, and Start positons. It will not have voltage in the Lock or Accessory Position. When this wire's contact opens you will have no Tachometer, Speedomete, or Gear shift indicator. Also the Check Engine light will be on and Transmission will be usually stuck in 2nd gear (called limp mode). I installed an aftermarket replacement switch and it last 92 days. I am going back with the OEM replacement and now troubleshooting connections, Grounds, and Shift solenoids, tranny, Ect

Does black smoke come out of the exhaust pipe when you floor it? Is so, it is running rich. Make sure fuel pressure is with in limits. A bad regulator may permit too much pressure. Also check the MAP sensor. Make sure it is getting vacuum.
