Hello my name is Israel and I will be glad to help you out. This alarm system uses a drop in voltage sensor to work. First mount the siren on a firm ground metal of the vehicle. Be sure that the base is mounted on metal and not plastic. Then, the best way for the system to work is to run the wire into the vehicle cab and connet the one wire to the positive side of either the dome light fuse or dome light wire. This will help in it "catching" voltage drops when the lights go on. Good Luck.

check the fuse on the main red wire on the remote start unit, I have had a couple that are defective, that clip that holds the fuse tight is not tight

are you using a bulldog product for this ?

put your key in the ignition leave it in the off position, now press the remote starter, if it starts you need to adjust the key in the 791, or adjust the transponder loop around the key chamber

you could take the fuse out of the main alarm harness for a couple of days and see if your problem persists

Turn the valet switch on, start the car with your key wait 15 sec, press the * star button 2 times with the car running, it should beep and program if not turn valet switch the other way and try again, if still nothing post me back and we will go from there

I would say get the schematics from bulldog and trace the lines, it sounds like either the wiring is bad or one of the relays is bad.

where did you tie into the domelight supervision? did you use the yellow black wire in the kick panel? does your unit have dip switches in it? it may be seeing ground when it is not supposed to. not sure but let me know how you hooked it up and what wire you used and i will let you know.

4.6 Northstar V8. It is located on the rear of engine (driver side) in front. It is in the the water pump housing cover. Remove air box and intake tube and bottom radiator hose. 2 bolts(believe 10mm) on thermostat housing. These systems are a little finicky about air pockets....so fill slowly and let run at idle until operating temp and let cool and check level.....fill as needed and repeat if needed.
