just read over the tach learning procedures for this. Are you sure your hooked up to a good tach source. My notes show its the green wire at the coil. Check your connections and let me know if there good.

first thing i would try is locate the main box for auto start. usually it is under dash on the driver side when installed. then find the lage or hrness with the most wires going to it and unplug it/wait a few min. then plug it back in. sometimes the unit will go into a security mode. this will just reset it. if this doesn't work then let me know

this "could" be a bad ground, however, usually when these units lose ground, they activate the siren at a really low level, because they are trying to ground through the siren.

I would say to check where the antenna plugs into the main unit,(brain) but honestly, in 17 years of dealing with DEI alarms, 99.9% of these problems are due to the transmitter - it may blink the LED like it is supposed to, but that doesnt gaurantee it is sending a signal. I would recommend buying a new transmitter and programing it to the brain.

it is in PDF format. If that is a no go your car may have a demobilizer and your bypass module may have become defctive or not installed properly. hope this helps.

you need to purchase a new remote and the program the transmitter to the brain. it is real easy. but make sure that you purchase the same model of transmiter.

That does not sound intierly tru but what is the year ,make and model of your car and i can check for you. but if memory seves me right it just consists of alot of extra work that most tech's dont like to do.

your key has a transponder in it. engine will only start with the transporter, its part of the immobilizer.

A common problem is the battery tab on the circuit board. We repair this by reheating the solder joint on the circuit board where the battery tab is attached.

easy remove it , and put the wiring back to factory stock bingo, done many others (installed) i use a jumper plug i design, that allows me to unplug the alarm box, and insert a jump plug and all is back to stock. the wiring is here. all of it. alldata.com i posted both ways, nice huh?

Sounds like you have a defective circuit board in your remote.

I would say coill failure , if you have no HT output .
