My truck will not start due to the key not working
Does the key turn in the lock cylinder? What year is the truck? Did you get the key cut at some random key place, or was it Vin cut at the dealership? There are a lot of variables that need to be eliminated before anyone could even come close to answering this question.
Alarm goes off on own
ok this could be a easy fix i had the same problem in my 02 eddie bower explorer there is 2 switches in each door one tells the computer the door is open the other tells the computer to turn on the interior light so if you notice the door ajar light come on or your interior lights stay on for a prolonged period of time then this is for sure your problem this can also be your problem if the switches are just starting to go bad they will randomly pop in and out trust me this is what happened to me the switches are unfortunatly located inside the door now (i miss the door pin switch's) but they are still easy and very inexpensive to replace check your local auto parts store for the do not go to ford as they will charge you an arm and a leg :) good luck my friend
Central locking not working
Assuming that the battery mentioned above is the Key Fob battery?
The usual solution to the key fob not working the Central Locking after battery replacent is to remove the car battery feed fuse to the Central Locking (or disconnect the car battery ) for 10 minutes...replace it..... then it should work OK
note: If you disconnect the Car Battery then make sure you have the radio security code.
If not then POST A NEW QUESTION quoting your radio Serial Number (usually begins with M * * * * * * )
How do i remove the cover of a honeywell home
look under the keypad on each side you will see a small slot , put a small screwdriver in there and push up and it will un hook from the bottom...if this is the most common keypad..send a picture if you can,I have been doing alarms 30 years and have seen it all...
Radio code needed
The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard .Then please quote the SERIAL NUMBER...usually beginning with M + + + + + +
I have a Bosh solution-16 Home security system
I know you don't want to pay an alarm technition to solve your problem....thats why your here, but in this case, I dont recommend you do this yourself... Call an alarm specalist, Some of these alarm panels require specalized programming and specific access codes you won;t be able to get a hold of. All of them are different. The safety of you and your family is worth more than a $75.00 service call.
Hi I bought a ford fiesta 2006 model at the
have you looked in the owners manual ?sometimes people leave the code card in there, also another thing to look for is if there is a number some where around the glove box, sometimes they give you the serial number for the radio , if you find that then you will need to contact the dealer to ask if they can give you the code. If the serial number is not found in the glove box then you need to get the serial number on the stereo itself. You will need to take the stereo out to do so
We just had a new motor in are 1997 ford explorer
If you are referring to the keyless entry code, for the door key pad then you can find the code as follows:
Remove the windshield defroster vent, to do this start in the middle and pry up using a knife or flat blade screw driver.
Stand outside the vehicle and look through the passenger side windshield, in the hole that is now visible you will see a plastic box with a label on the top, you should be able to see the word FORWARD on the label, using a flashlight, look to the far end of the label, there will be a 5 digit code, this is your keyless entry code.
I have a 2000 ford
i have the instruction.to program the key.
ORIGINATE A NEW KEY:
1. Insert new transponder key and turn ignition to ‘ON’ position. The dashboard security light will turn on and stay on for 10 minutes.
2. Once the security light goes out, you have one minute to to begin Step 3. Turn ignition to ‘OFF’ and then back to ‘ON’ position.
3. Repeat Step 2.
4. Once the dashboard security light has turned off for the third time, the key has been successfully programmed. This is now the only key that is
programmed to the system and all previous electronic key codes have been erased.
ADD A DUPLICATE KEY:
1. Insert the newly programmed key and turn ignition to ‘ON’ position and then back to ‘OFF’.
2. Remove existing key, insert new transponder key and turn to ‘ON’ position. THIS MUST BE DONE WITHIN 15 SECONDS.
3. The dashboard security light will come on for two seconds indicating successful programming.
