If you are using an Active Voice product (typical w/ NEC) you need to change the hours of operation on the voice mail system. "Night Mode" only changes the ringing characteristics of the phone system and where calls ring, not the greetings that play on the voice mail. The voice mail plays a particular greeting (Day/Night/Holiday) based on the time of day specified in the schedule. The system administrator for the voice mail would have to make this change.

Set your Call Forward Busy/No Answer to go to voice mail ext. as follows: Lift the handset, dial 4 then 3 followed by the voice mail ext. (the number you dial to retrieve voicemail messages). Hang up.

• Dial 69
• Press Feature

If still a problem, disconnect the power and cable to the phone. Wait 10 minutes and reconnect.

1- Press Feature
2- Dial 9
3- Dial #
4- Dial Current time eg 03:29
5- Press Recall to toggle AM/PM
6- Press Hold to advance to the calendar
7- Press Recall to select the day of the week
8- Press # to move the cursor to the day of month setting
9- Enter the day by using the dial pad
10- Press Recall to select the month
11- Press # to move the cursor to the year setting
12- Enter the year by using the dial pad (only the last two digits are entered)
13- Press Feature
If only setting the time, press Feature after making the changes.

you need to subscribe to Caller Id from the phone company! If you already have it, it should work, otherwise I would check with your NEC contractor.

All you need to do is find the phone jack nearest to where you want the phone and plug it in. If the phone cord is plugged in properly, and the interior wiring of the house is in good shape, you should hear dial tone.
If not try moving the phone to a different phone jack until you do get dial tone.

It sounds like your auto attendant is DIT for both day and night. You can setup a schedule in programming and use the night mode function, but it depends on the type of system. It is a little more detailed o program, you should have a tech do it or call for remote support and someone can walk you through it.
