Our voicemail system is inactive but my phone says I have a MSG, how do I clear that?

You can have a (sort of text) message from one set to another without voicemail. Voicemail uses that mechanism to tell you you have a message. Feature 1 is Send message, Feature 65 is View Message, or press the soft key under the MSG display. After viewing it, another soft key should say ERASE.

Why won't my phone system ring over the intercom system as it should?

Not sure what you mean by rings over the intercom. Do multiple phones have the lines on them and they all ring or do you put it on night service for the other phones to ring.

Cant make seclection on m7310 phone

Check your button programming using Feature *0. If your buttons are programmed or this does not work try swapping with another working extension having the same type of phone to determine where the trouble is.

Try swapping it with another working phone of the same type. This will tell you if the extension line is in trouble to the phone system or the phone.

Phone is blinking when it stops none of the buttons seem to work and it says no line selected on my M7310

When the it is blinking the phone is resetting. There are several reasons for this. Once the blinking stops and Date & Time appear, your phone should be operational again. Check the buttons for programming by using Feature *0 and pressing any button to verify it is programmed. If not you might have a bad phone. Try swapping phones with a working one of the same type. This will tell you if your phone or port are in trouble by where the trouble goes.

Move a hunt group button to different position on set

Hunt group buttons are just like lines, they occupy to first buttons on the phone. The only way to move a hunt group button is up or down the list of lines. If you want it first, you have to remove all assigned line from the extension to be changed this includes the hunt group. Now come out of programming and go back in to the extension. Add the lines or hunt group in the order you want them. NOTE IF THE LINES ARE TO BE OUT OF ORDER NUMERICALLY, YOU HAVE TO ADD THE ONES THAT ARE IN ORDER AND LEAVE PROGAMMING AND COME BACK IN AGAIN. THIS SETS THE ORDER OF APPEARANCE.

Canceling call forwarding from one extention to another

On the extension that is forwarding use Feature #4 to cancel the call forwarding unless it is programmed under the capabilities section in programming. This will require someone with programming ability to make the forwarding change back to the voice mail access number.

Speed dial button says incoming call

Check the programming on all of your buttons by using Feature *0 and press any button to see what is programmed on that button. It sounds like something else is programmed on your speed dial button. To set a speed dial button press Feature *3 then the button you want to be speed dial. Press Feature 0 to program it.

Phone not ringing in normal mode

I believe this is a programming issue. To change the ringing assignments on extensions enter programming mode by pressing Feature **266344 and password 266344 if it hasn't been changed. You have to do this from an M7310 phone. The top two buttons on each side will move you through programming. The top right button is the SHOW button and the button below it is the NEXT button. The top left button is the HEADER button and the button below it is the BACK button. Your first category should be TERMINALS & SETS. Press the SHOW button and using the dial pad enter the extension number. The display should show the extension number or name. Press SHOW three times and the display should show LINE ___. With options to SCAN or LIST. Pressing SCAN will show the lines assigned to the extension. Use the CHNG option to change how the line is on the phone. RING ONLY - UNASSIGNED - APPEAR ONLY - AND APPEAR & RING. Change the lines you want to ring in NORMAL DAY MODE to APPEAR & RING for this extension and press SCAN to move to the next assigned line. Use this same method for any extension you want to change the ringing on.
