I have tried but have

Wow. First of all, did CID ever work? If you happen to have a CICS (Compact ICS system) walk to the system and look at the cards in the big tall slots. There will be a CI indication in the upper right side of the card to show that it's caller id (Part number in the center has NT75 in its part).

Start with that first. The installer password is in the installation manual. You can look around this forum to find if anyone has shared that password, but it's beyond the scope of a free forum for me to give out a password that can be used to destroy a system's program.

I need to customize 9

Unfortunatly, when in system programming you can't assign line order. It would make things easier if you could. In stead Nortel uses a user function to move lines from one button to another. To move the line/s press feature *81, press the line you want to move then press the button you want to move it to.The 2 buttons that were pressed will be exchanged.when finished press the Rls key. The down side is that it's done on a per set basis, so depending on how many phones you wan't to change your could be in for a busy day.

How do i program my nt8b20af-03 with an extension

If you plug the telephone into an activated (connected to the Norstar System) telephone jack, the lights should begin to blink while the phone boots-up. The system automatically assigns an extension number. To see what the ext. # assigned to the phone is, press "Feature * 0" (Button Inquiry) and press an intercom button. This will display the ext, # and Set Name of the phone.
Good Luck!

I'm a new employee.

Have your system administrator go into voicemail programming and reset the mailbox password. The default password will be "0000".
I hope you understand that having passwords in the first place is a security measure, so I will not give directions for hacking into your companies voicemail system.

My Meridian M7310 phone system is unable to

Either the line from the telephone company is out or the line port in the line card is defective. The easiest way to determine if its one or the other is to report the line trouble to the telephone company. they'll check the line up to where it comes into the building, and if theres a problem on thier side they'll get it back in service. If the report the line is good to the building, then you'll need to call your telephone system service technician.

Message for you

more than likely someone in your office left the message rather than the voice mail. to clear it press the "call" soft key below the screen. the screen should display who left the message with two of the soft keys labeled "call" and "erase". press the "erase" soft key. it's possible the the person/s that left the message left multiple messages. in that case repeat the procedure til all messages are canceled.
