if the battery is older than 1 year replace the battery with a new one , also I know its difficult but try to not charge a battery till its dead , short cycle charging of battery's kills em fast if battery is less than 1yr contact Milwaukee its still under warranty

Any dewalt similar type will be fine. A 18v NicD type dewalt one with this male socket is perfect.

It is totally normal if some oil came out the chuck because the grease due to the high heat becomes oil and came out from the chuck. It depends on the quantity it comes out. If it is a huge quantity then replace the grease.

First inspect the brushholder slide connectors and the brown (purple or yellow) wires . from switch to brusholder they can become very bad after working with heavy load or wrong gear setting . May be It can mean your LI ION battery is out of range by the deep discharged protection. !!! your charger is not defect and your battery also not in 80% of this cases you are certainly not the only one with this problem . i think your battery was or is new or for a long time not used have i right ? or it was long lay down in the stockroom by the store before it was selling as i know from experience it by the brand Hitachi its fast much allways going that way. in priority the little 10 volt batteries made of li-ion can have on stock for 5 years its out of range , but i send it back and for service they come back full loaded again and full of capacity. its fully under service and they know that problem, there are no costs as all people with Li Ion tools to sell should know this or asked by purchase by some companies to load it full before buying a new tool with li-ion batteries because it prevents a disappointment and a drive to the shop again.
