The legs supports are fixed and are in a down
The elevating Legrest for the right leg is available from The Aftermarket Group. com. This company is owned by Invacare and sells to the retail customer. Once you are on the website click on wheelchair parts, front rigging, Legrest assemblies:
Scroll down to Invacare Patriot 18" to 20" wide, RP 151009 , Legrest assembly, cam lock, black padded calf pad, heel loop, right. Confirm from the picture and description that this is what you want and order it. There is a handle at the pivot shown in the picture to adjust the angle up or down on the elevation. There is tool free adjuster for your leg length. Hope this helps.
I was given a Patriot Wheelchair. I have on
The best identification for this wheelchair is the model and serial number (SN) tag located on the frame crossbar. With the SN you can look up the exact parts delivered and used on this WC. The prefix of the SN , for example 96D, indicates a year of 1996, month of April (D or fourth month). To find parts diagrams and components for this model go to Invacare.com. At the Invacare home page you will see a tab "parts catalog", click on it. In product category select manual wheelchairs. In parts catalog choose Patriot wheelchair. In page in catalog select front rigging. There are many choices in front rigging but you can identify the parts you need by looking at the pictures. The 70 degree footrests are the most common. Once you have determined the type you need they can be purchased retail at The Aftermarket Group.com (TAG). The Aftermarket Group sells parts and the complete footrest assemblies, the manufacturer ,Invacare, sells only through dealers. There are pictures and diagrams on both websites. TAG pictures of front rigging are better and easier to understand for the WC client. The Invacare website is geared more towards WC professionals. Hope this helps.
Reset of dash lights RE. Potentiometer -
hi John, the tiller display you got on that scooter , if all of the lights are coming on even when the battery power is low sadly is a faulty component, they are cheap to repair and is now a common problem because they quite old ..

Invacare Leo back wheels seizing up and also hard to push without locking in freewheel mode
hi Helen, firstly the scooter will lock up after a couple of metres , that is by design to stop you rolling down a hill etc ..
Now if the scooter is hard to push even in freewheel, means the brake has either decided to seize (lack of use , been in storage ) or has become damage. The mechanism for releasing the brake has become damaged . brake removal recommended then try to push the scooter , if it 's okay then its the brake if not , it could be the coupling between the motor and gearbox has failed or the gearbox itself has a issue,.
Regards
Rob
Are both lights supposed to be green i have 1 red 1 green on my battery for my invacare scooter
Mine is an Invacare M51 Pronto Surestep with an onboard Winsunny battery charger. My charging lights are solid red and green/ yellow. Depending on if it is charging or not. What kind of charger do you have?
I have to replace my charger because it is not working. My green light is staying green while charging even though my joystick is showing my batteries are depleting and I just got new batteries. sigh.
