My Nortel phone NT8B27JAAE6 has
Feature 983 log in is 120000 (if 2 digit extension, 1020000 if 3 digit, 10020000 if 4 digit extensions)
Select Mbox, enter that locked extensions mail box number, You will see password RESET. Select RESET. Release out. This will reset that mail box password to 0000. Use feature 981 on that phone and enter the new default password of 0000. you will then be prompted to change the password.
Feature 985 will show you the extension of the line you are using.
How do I transfer a
Listen to the complete voice mail, then when it finishes (or you fast forward) choose COPY
You can then record your own voice message intro to the message explaining why you have transferred it.
Once you choose yes or no to recording your own Intro you will get to choose the mailbox you would like to forward the voice mail to.

All of a sudden, I
Problem
What happens when someone tries to call you ?? Does it blink on the intercom key ? Are you sure they're dialing the right extension number ? Go to your phone, dial FEATURE *0 and then press the intercom key. It'll tell you the extension number of that phone.
Other than DO NOT DISTURB (feature 85 = on, Feature #85 = off) there's nothing that would stop a phone from getting an internal call.
When logging into the voicemail
You're resetting the wrong password. Keep in mind that mailbox numbers and extension numbers are not always the same. When you're resetting the password, make sure that the EXT assigned to it is the right one !! If you're resetting the reception mailbox, it's usually mailbox 100 (regardless of what the extension number is)

It simple,just check the details of you outgoing cable connected to others,or from the box it self check the outgoing information on it if it barred from calling out.

Assuming you have configured paging zones and the phone is authorized to make a page,
Feature + 6 + 0 opens a general paging line to all zones.
Feature + 6 + 1 + X pages internal zone X (1-6 are allowed zone numbers)

MANY TIME A PERSON DIALS WITHOUT REALIZING THAT THE ACCEPTANCE CODE NEEDS TO BE INSERTED FIRST THE Nortel T7316E?...If you want to
temporarily turn them off use do not disturb (feature 85, feature #85 to
turn Do Not Distrub off) Turning off the ringing permanently will require you to program the set. Programming is done on M7310,

Try pressing the FEATURE button then, **266344. On some Norstar phone systems there is also an Admin level of programming that is useful if you only need to change the names or the time. To access Admin programming, press Feature**23646(spells admin on the dial pad). Then 23646 for password.

This will work for setting a new greeting as well, you can use numbers 1,2,3 etc for the greeting numbers to set them at different times of day in the table.

So in other words, try 1020000, 10020000, 120000
