I can't get passed primary greeting recording.
Hi there Moodymar,One thing you can try is logging into your mailbox as you would calling into your vmail system externally.....dial access phone number....here prompt.....dial ** mailbox number, then password. ""Sometimes"" this tricks it and you can get in. Question, does any one else have the same problem? If no, then unfortunately you have to get the system administrator to delete your mailbox and re-create it, you will loose msg's.The nortel vmail systems are not forgiving if something doesn't sit right with them.You also mentioned that mbox is full, do you here the system announce that?Also make sure your mbox has not been set as a ""Information mailbox", maybe a silly question, just something to clear out of the way (this type of box does not record greetings).Another thing, typically when mboxes are created on Norstar vmail systems the extension and mbox numbers match. Make sure you ext and mbox number match, cause 99.9 % of time they will. That small percentage of time they don't cause's confusion for the end users.I know this is a lot of stuff, but, one last thing, to make sure your phone is operating okay, have someone else try logging into thier own vmail on your phone, or a couple of people
