My hitachi c10fs miter saw wont turn blade, can hear motor engage,,dont know if it is the elec. brake

If you can hear the motor engaging but the blade is not turning, there could be several possible reasons for this issue. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem: Check the power supply: Make sure the saw is properly plugged in and the outlet is functioning. You can also try plugging the saw into a different outlet to see if that makes a difference. Check the blade: Make sure the blade is properly seated and tightened on the arbor. If the blade is loose, it may not spin properly. Check the belt: If your miter saw is belt-driven, check the belt to make sure it is not loose or broken. Check the motor: If the motor is running but the blade is not turning, it could be a problem with the motor. Check to make sure the motor is properly connected to the blade and that the motor is running smoothly. Check the electrical brake: If your miter saw has an electric brake, it may be malfunctioning. You can check this by unplugging the saw and removing the blade. Then, turn the saw on and see if the brake engages. If it doesn't, the brake may need to be replaced. If none of these troubleshooting steps solve the problem, it may be best to take your saw to a professional for repair.

How do i fix my bosch 3915 compound miter it makes a grinding sound when it slows down

If your Bosch 3915 compound miter saw is making a grinding sound when it slows down, it could be an indication of a few different issues. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem: Clean the saw blade: A dirty saw blade can cause the saw to make a grinding sound. Use a brush or compressed air to remove any debris or sawdust from the blade. Check the blade for damage: A damaged or worn blade can cause the saw to make a grinding sound. Check the blade for any chips or missing teeth, and replace the blade if necessary. Check the bearings: The bearings on the saw's motor and blade can wear out over time, causing a grinding sound. Try to move the blade side to side to check for any play or looseness. If the bearings are worn, they will need to be replaced. Check the motor brushes: The motor brushes on the saw can also wear out and cause a grinding sound. Check the brushes for wear and replace them if necessary. Lubricate the saw: Lack of lubrication can cause the saw to make a grinding sound. Use a lubricant designed for power tools to lubricate the blade and other moving parts of the saw. If none of these steps solve the problem, it's best to take your saw to a professional for repair. Grinding sounds can be an indication of serious issues, and it's important to address them before they cause further damage to your saw

Clamp Lever - How to loosen and tighten to adjust bevel.

The 8mm bolt head, which is below the "stop plate"--- for olack of a better word-- is only to ALLOW ROOM to complete the swivel of the bevel-- ONCE THE CLAMP LEVER IS LOOSENED!! I neither have been able to loosen the CLAMP LEVER!! There is a large philips screwhead inside the handle of the lever, which I tried to loosen without much luck. I am very afraid to force that... ALSO, i tapped on the lever handle itself to see if it would unstick, but with no luck AND DIDNT WANT TO FORCE THAT EITHER!! So here I am online looking for answers again!!

How do i replace switch on Hitachi miter saw

Oh come on. You know the answer. You start taking out screws until you can see the switch and then you replace it with a new one from the parts supply store. Then you put all the screws back in.

My hitachi table saw . when i turn on , the suond buzz buzz and cut off , the reset button keep off cannot start the saw

HI, could be the Brushes need replacing, take them out and have a look at them , they are located on either side of the motor, you will seea black plastic nut or screw remove this and a wire within a spring willpop out a little bit, gently pull this out and you see a black piece of carbon at the end of it, this is usualy 1/4--1/2 "long condition should look good , however , if it looks badly worn with a lot of grooving on the end then you must replace them.,if you think this is a wee bit difficult then you will have to contact a motor repair comp. or get them to fit a new motor as it sounds like yours is shorting out....T.C.

Grinding noise when it's running

's the bearings that are going bad, you can go on the Hitachi web site, put in model # parts breakdown, which will show you the chop saw torn apart and how it comes apart the bearing that goes bad is the one nearest the blade because it gets greater pressure applied to it, I would replace both bearings while you have it apart. and you can order the bearing while on the web site. Good Luck.
