Unplug machine. Remove connectors to the hard drive. Does it boot up now? Yes, then replace the hard drive. No? Then the controller board is defective.

Needs the web to be replaced.

Dirty optics or needs new drum units.

Paper table is not moving. Check wire harness.

Bad thermal head. Very expensive.....

Replace the clamper assembly.

Reset the master cutter. If it continues replace it. Very easy to replace.

This is a cutter error. Check the following.

Open the side the master is loaded. Check that the cutter is in the home possition and that there is no used master stuck in the machine. Check the motor by entering sp mode

Function clear "107" press and hold C/clear

"131" #

"23" Start key

will return cutter to home position.

Press funtion clear to exit.

If the motor is not running you will have to replace it.

usually a fuser error is good. Bad for you, good for your neighbors. The rollers have to to be pretty hot to melt the toner. there's usually 3-4 safety devices making sure there isn't a thermal run-away thermofuse cuts power when to hot thermistors decide how hot is hot. for instance a chunk of toner can get in between the hot rollern and the thermistor and give it a false reading.or it could just wear out. They don't make it easy for Joe Average to get in there and clean and tweek. Take it to someone whose used to taking little things apart ( and putting them back the right way // or better yet ifr you're confused about the job of a hot section of a copier maybe it's best to get some professional hands in t6here and get a good service call. He might find a set of squeaky bearings and throw them in for an extra $20 Good luck my friend~~~~SC

Replace both the thermistors and reset SC code

Pressure Roller Thermistor Error. Check thermistor for damage or bad connection.

ricoh 1502... just enter to sp mode (yellow, 1,0,7, push 'c' button 5sec.).... after entering sp mode, switch off & on the machine; if not cleard sc541,,, check thermistors for open/short circuited before going to changing powr supply board 7 finelly BICU (mothr board)
