Siemens WFXD5200UC Front Load Washer Questions & Answers
Started filling, made a loud noise, stopped
The washer drain the water if you put on spin. all electronically controlled washer won't unlock the door and or spin if there's water inside the water has to be drained out first. If the basket didn't move(no motor movement) and it finished the cycle, POSSIBLE problem is the motor control board.

Clinking sound in a Siemens WFXD5200UC/01 front loading washer
I would suggest that a small thin metal item has got into the outer drum unit. This is the space between the internal spinning drum and the outer casing. This can sometimes happen by the object passing between the rubber door seal and the drum. Not easy to get out, however if it is small enough it may eventually find its way into the pump filter trap. There is a small round cover plate at the bottom right hand side of the machine. Behind the cover is the filter trap, open it up (when machine empty) and check for the object every so often. To open the filter turn the plug cover about a third anticlockwise and it should release. Pull gentle on the plug to remove from the machine.

Getting a E04 error code
According to siemens website Laundry appliances use many different codes depending upon age and origin. Faults that can be dealt with by the user are normally listed in the instruction book. Link to instruction manual download Flashing LEDs or displays frequently indicate door not closed, low water pressure or a blockage in the drain pump, drain hose or your drainage system.

Mold door seal
If you want the door seal replaced any local domestic engineer will be able to do this. The mould is caused by excess detergent, constant washing at low temperatures, keeping the door closed when the machine is not in use. If you want to stop the mould reappearing once the seal has been replaced you need to carry out regular service washes (boil wash with a descaler/sanitiser). Use the correct amount of detergent for the amount of washing to be done and the hardness of the water in your area. Give the door seal a quick wipe after you use it and try and keep the door slighlty ajar when not in use.

Plastic covering on front door broken can I get
hi most parts can be bought these days as long as you are confident enough to fit the new part, if your not clued up on these things best way is to get a piece of paper and write down everything you do when stripping front cover off and just put that in reverse when re-fitting new cover most important thing to note are assembly numbers make model they will be on the back or on the tag plate each part has it own assembly number when ordering sometimes you can be suoplied with a universal or generic part these are cheaper but make sure its the correct size type and fittings before you order if you go to e-spares they sell most parts and have videos as well to help prices are competitive
