does you phone supports mp3 files? if so you can download the music but never for free. there is no way you can download mp3 music through you phone. however, if you have usb cable for your phone, you can download the music using computer, and then transfer it to your phone using usb cable.

Locking up of folder without any third party software is not feasible. To the most you can password protect your memory card by going to security option of your memory card. You can search google for downloading folder locking software for mobile

Yes it will ask for a password because the password is set on the phone. Put in the old password you put on old phone and after it opens disable the password feature to avoid a repeat

remove your memory card format it from ur pc (back up ur data b4 formatting), then install a mobile antivirus (preffer avira antivir) then scan your mobile all viruses ll be cleaned.
