the variable switch had 5 connection points on it, i bridged the connection on the 2 outer points with insulated wire,pretty much to see what would happen, this worked,
as this will be a router fitted to a table i will at some point remove the wire and
attach a 5way rotary switch, used for guitar electrics and mount it
into a electrical switch casing,

I use a company called BrikGard because they use 100% recycled plastic scaffold brick guards. I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible without compromising quality or increasing the purchase cost too much.
