Siemens SE55T790 dishwasher does not

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. If this does not happen then the voltage at the inlet valve must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the SENSOR must activate to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut .

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Hi Steve

E24 error normally indicates failure to drain, the first thing to check is that the water is actually being supplied to the appliance and is turned on. If it is then check the water inlet valve, if the valve tests fines then clean the drain pump assembly completely as that might be clogged causing this issue. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Bottom rotating arm doesnt spray water but top arm does

i have a similar problem. water is not reaching the bottom spray arm. there. i have an underwater case for my digital camera, so i'm going to put a torch or 2 in some waterproof bags and remove the bottom spray arm and run the dishwasher to see if there's water coming out of the bottom pipe, if not, i need to try and see if there's a blockage in the system, or a dodgy valve, could be that the soldering's or the control panel's buggered.

Hi. On the wash cycle the machine leaks water ?

Check to make sure you are securely closing the door so it locks completely. Also , open the door when it is off and check the seal for any foreign materials that might be causing it to not seal. If it is not the door seal you will need to check all of the plumbing fittings such as water inlet and drain hose. You didn't specify a particular place where it "Leaks" so I am pointintg out the obvious

The machine keeps sticking at 1 minute and then

Hello Catherine, welcome to Fixya. The reason your dishwasher is displaying a "1" is the control has detected a heating error. The error code is displayed by the number "1". Here`s the most likely reason why it has detected the error... The most likely and most common issue with your Bosch dishwasher likely lye`s within`the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ). This is why it runs forever unless pressing the two buttons for "cancel". To repair your unit It will require the removal of the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board. This will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit sit`s at "1" ( because it can`t heat to advance or until canceled ) trying to heat the water. **Further to this, if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on there behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)** **Please disconnect the power before attempting any service to the dishwasher. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau, to service your machine.** Hope this answer`s your question's, let me know if I can assist you further. Thank`s for visiting "fixya" for your repair inquiries. Please take a moment and rate this solution to it's helpfulness to you and leave a testimony if you're satisfied. Good luck. macmarkus :)

The drain pump keeps running when the machine is

This sounds like its gone into flood mode.
If water is detected in the base of the machine, the pump switches on and stays on to prevent flooding.
Normally to reset you would lean the machine backwards and let the water drain out.
In your case, switch off the mains, remove the lower kick panel. Shine a torch in there and you should see the water. CAREFULLY dry it out and it should reset.
If it does it again, you need to check for leaks.

No matter which program I choose, after 1 min the program stops and I get "tap" symbol on the led display.
