How to install batteries in coleman axis headlamp
Side panel comes out by turning (if you look on head strap, one of the ends says Key/battery. You can insert that into the side battery compartment and turn counter-clockwise). After you have that cover off, simply take something like your knife and pry it from behind the battery case and it will slide right out.
(O) is what you will see if you're looking down on it. The circle in the middle should have 3 tiny screws in it. Stick your knife between the O and the ) and pry the O out. Hopefully that makes sense. You could also just pop the battery cover off, and then hit the flashlight into your hand so that you knock the battery compartment loose. Then you don't have to pry anything. But that might damage the LED...probably not though.

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. If it is a fuse then you'll need to replace it, you can use a similar rating fuse as replacement. Also make sure to check the battery output. Use only a 6-volt, 4 AmpHr rechargeable lead acid battery.
Remove the screw from the cover on the right side of your water heater and remove the cover. Pull the battery out from storage compartment and remove the leads from the battery terminals. Now use a multimeter to check for the power on the battery.
If this doesn't resolve your issue then i'll suggest you to check the element for the power. To check the elements, turn off the power, remove one wire from one screw on each element, then touch the probes from a digital ohm meter to each screw. Now the value should be greater than few 100's ohm(around 250-300 ohms). If it is less then you'll need to replace the element.
Only perform these repairs if you are confident that you will be able to perform each step correctly and would wire everything correctly. And, do not perform any repairs if it is under warranty.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks
