I have a power fist stapler nailer 8042509 which
Travel of driver blade /striker is controlled by lower bumper. Remove driver blade and cylinder to examine the bumper. It should be complete not cracking or chipped. If worn replace to solve problem. If it looks to be in good condition, add thin piece of rubber under the bumper to space driver out a bit. Use piece of inner tube or similar and make small hole to pass the driver blade. Other solution would be to actualy grind the end of the driver a bit. Good luck

Hi,
Here is a tip that I wrote
about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up
with them.
I also have a link to the Paslode manuals
which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.
If
you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a
site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

How do I remove crown staples that have not gone
if you can slide something like a nail bar underneath the crown of the staple then put something under the pry bar so it doesn't pry against your project you should be able to pull it easily... side cutters may also be useful in this situation...if the staple is in to far to get anything under it maybe consider using a punch and sinking it in manually.
