Removal of rear wheel on cox stockman ride on mower
These wheels are usually just held on with a Key way, ALOT OF TIME they offer resistance because they are rusted insode the rim and are needing a mallet to hit them from the inside pretty hard.
Turn it as you can usually a lever on the back side of the mower can be pulled out without the brake on to slip the transmission into nuetral. Turn the tire. I have used a small peice of 2x4 as well because a hammer dont fit well. Good luck I will watch this post and search my Diagrams to see if i have this rider tmrw at work.!
Mower blades won't engage craftsman lt1000
I had a similar problem with my LT1000 after the winter: engine started and ran but the blades wouldn't engage.
You need to drop the deck.
There are about 7 cotter pins holding it in place. It will help first to lower the deck, then to raise it after releasing the cotter pins. Then you can slide it out to the side.
Take a picture of the belt and pulleys running from the crankshaft under the motor and the path around the pulleys.
This will be a good chance to sharpen or replace the blades.
Check that the pulleys and blade spindles spin well.
Take more pictures for reassembly.
There are four springs which give resistance while engaging the blades, another that counteracts to release the blades and engage the brakes on the blades, and then a spring on each of the brakes. Check that everything slides well. Disassemble, clean rust and lubricate as necessary. In my case there was rust here and there that needed to be cleaned before the pieces would slide. Spent some time scraping and lubricating - plus running to get a new spring at the hardware store, before getting back into action.
As others have pointed out, check the seat spring and the actual cable to the clutch. The hardest part may just be figuring out how to drop the deck. Good luck.
This was a hand-me-down mower that hadn't received use in a couple of years.
Replacing the inner spring of attachment lift lever
You should have a roll-pin as a stop for the spring. Use a hammer and drift punch the same size or larger than the roll pin to drive the pin up to the lever arm. Change to a drift punch just a tad smaller than the hole but still covering as much of the pin as you can without the punch getting stuck inside the roll-pin--in which case just use a pair of pliers and twist and pull. Hope it helped

I have a wizard riding mower, model 13ah66ofo98
couple of things to check
3.Carburetor Adjustment. A carburetor that's incorrectly adjusted is a common cause of poor engine idling that results in hunting and surging. ... Then slowly adjust the screws tighter or looser in turn until the mower runs and idles smoothly.
this first..When the blockage moves or clears, the engine may suddenly rev up in response. To fix this type of problem, check the air filter to ensure that it's not clogged with dirt and debris. Check the vented gas cap as well. Both issues can cause reduced or sporadic air flow, and clearing them will fix the problem.
2.Water in the fuel will do it too.
sorry i posted them not in the right order.
I HAVE A 2003 CRAFTSMAN
You have a short related to the clutch or the clutch is shorted internally.
