Question edited to add '(what it is)'. Question mover from Cars and Trucks to a Lawn Tractor one. Belts only come off in a few circumstances. Misaligned pulleys. Worn Belt. New belt, wrong size. Tensioner not working properly. Belt not properly tensioned. Sounds like one or more of the spindel bearings is seizing up when they get hot next time it does that feel the spindels if one or more replace it or just replace the bearing much cheaper

You have a short related to the clutch or the clutch is shorted internally. Check all your wiring related to the clutch. Ohm out the clutch.

check your spindels on the mower deck sounds like they are going bad if you dont fix it it will overheat the engine .

It may be that the gas cap no longer vents, allowing air to enter the tank as gas is being used. Try to have cap loose to see it it is the problem, and if it is, a very small hole on cap needs to be opened or made.

You should have a roll-pin as a stop for the spring. Use a hammer and drift punch the same size or larger than the roll pin to drive the pin up to the lever arm. Change to a drift punch just a tad smaller than the hole but still covering as much of the pin as you can without the punch getting stuck inside the roll-pin--in which case just use a pair of pliers and twist and pull. the best advice i can give is to make sure those bolts are tight and have a lock washer on them if it keeps happening go to a profor advise never hsad that problem

the noumber you saw on the body of the mower should be it go on lne LT 1000 17.5 ic ohv and see what comes up you may find it that way i hope>

ground the spark plug to the engine block it should spark. sounds like you need to check the valves and push rods

first check for spark/ no spark, replace coil/ have spark/pull the fuel line off at carb and let flow into gas can, see if it keeps flows then slows/ replace fuel filter OR clean gas tank, it might have a filter in the tank also. a jumper wire can be used to excite the fuel shut off solenoid on the carburetor if so equipped. also scotch lock can be used to bypass seat and clutch saftey switches for testing/diagnostic troubleshooting purposes. let me know how you do

The washers go on, then the sleeve, the "C" clip holds it all on the axle.

The "C" clip holds the hub on the axle. No it is not a press fit.

resecure the dipstick tube fill with oil and restart motor and observe tube at seat for any leaks and listen to motor making sure no internal damage was done if no issues your good to go

there will be one under the seat and if you have to lift a lever to engage the blades there may be one under that
