You must have dirt in one or more of the carb jets. Remove the carb and clean it with carb cleaner spray and compressed air (compressed air is a must).

Don't know about your particualr saw, but general instructions are : take the bar cover off, take the bar and chain off, put your piston stop in, remove the clutch nut by unscrewing it clockwise, remove the shoes and springs from inside the drum, and pouit them in the new one, replace it all. If you don't have a piston stop you can pull the starter cord all the way out and stuff some of it into the spark plug hole to stop the piston moving when you turn the clutch nut.

pull the hand guard back to release brake

If it's all brand new, then sounds like you have the chain on backwards. The angled parts of the cutters should face forward while on the top of the bar.

Could be a fuel tank breather issue, when it starts to die slacken off the fuel cap, to see if it picks up again, if it does you need to replace the breather.

if you have no spark

check for faulty plug 1st, then pull kill wire off at kill switch, then check for grounding ht lead ,
then pull kill wire off at armature , if still no spark most likley faulty ignition armature
i suspect the part number you need if its type 1 is 15662639130
replace it and set air gap and reassemble and test

check compresson no less than 50 psi must have this much to even hit [email protected]

How do i remove this type of clutch? I have morked on a bunch of different saws but this shindaiwa is really annoying me. I can not find any way to remove it. any help would be great. thanks

check the fuel lines for cracks and the filter is still connected
