Where can I by replacement for the concertina rubber tubing that links a toilet to the Sanibest macerator

You should be able to purchase this at any local hardware store.Lowes, Menards , or Home Depot. They may have to order it but I am sure that if you take the old parts they can make you a replacement if they do not have the direct replacement hose there.

Saniflo is working its only connected to a sink but only pumps three quaters of the water away then stops and leaves rest of water in the sink

Sounds like the pump needs to be de-watered completely and cleaned. There is a pressure chamber that contains, I am guessing here since I hve never taken one apart, a float and a microswitch. If the float gets heavy with gunk or gets a hole in it, it will not float as well and will take more water in the drain pipe to cause it to rise up and activate the micro switch. I don't know how hard it is to disassemble these units but hope it is fairly simple since they are pricey. You said it was only on a sink, not a toilet or both. It is possible that grease has built up (the gunk) and a hot water flush may do the job for you but it will take a lot of hot water flowing through the grinder, that of some grease dissolving drain cleaner.

My saniflo does not switch

The Sanialarm has a level pressure switch which can fail in the on or off position. I would replace the switch with a new one. Not knowing how old the unit is there may also be a build up of lime inside.

I hope that this makes sence to you and helps you out.

Be safe and have a great weekend. Tom

Yes,

Stop using it. Sounds like the "Impeller" is going bad or broken. There are replacement parts or you may buy another ejection tank.

Saniflo pump has a delay, kicks in 15 mins after flushed.

Either the rubber membrane or the microswitch is at fault.

Saniflow plus works allright for w.c but will not work for shower

Thanks for the clarification - This rules out power supply to the unit, motors/pump and points more towards why the water would be pumped from the WC flush and not the basins ...

1. The Saniflo range of macerators have a pressure switch that engages when the water pressure inside the unit activates a microswitch that is encased in a waterproof container. It is possible that the water pressure from the shower and basins is not great enough to activate the internal switch.

So, I would propose two checks

a) If the unit previously worked for the shower and basins something has changed and it is most likely to be gunk inside the unit causing the switch to be less sensitive and only activate on the high pressure that the WC would provide. The fix would be to open up the unit and clean it - please let me know if you need info on how to do this

b) If this is a new install and the shower and basins never worked, you should check the fall in the pipework into the Saniflo is sufficient (should be 1 in 70 from memory - full install instructions are available from the Saniflo website)

c) It could be that if the unit has been in for a long time with a large number of operations that the microswitch is starting to fail and is not as sensitive as it once was (quite unlikely) - but always a possibility!

Replacement microswitches are freely available online and you should also be able to get the exact match spares from Saniflo

If this helps please leave feedback - if not please let me know and I'll try and help some more!

Good Luck :)

Local authority state saniflow may choke at rainwater trap and will not accept saniflow going into rainwater drain

Your description sounds like plumbing from before bacteria was discovered. The output from a Saniflo macerator should be sent to a foul drain or cesspit and not a rainwater drain. Some authorities allow local rainwater runoff into foul drains but this situation is gradually being designed out. Could be your Saniflo installation didn't meet building regulations when it was installed. The fact it has been working fine for 2 years doesn't count for anything if it doesn't.

Saniflo says the bottom of shower should be 8" from floor. But what is the lowest the shower can be and still function ok?? Will 5" give enough slant? Or, how high does the water get in the sanibest u

Sorry but they give you 8" for a reason, they did the testing etc. You might get by at 5" but that will probably just get by and limit the service life.

Saniflo undersink macerator keeps trying to pump every 10 seconds or so.

The "tank level" switch is stuck on. You may be able to clear it by cleaning the system/pump with a water hose (outside of course) so you will have to take the system apart then give it a good cleaning. May not help but at least you will have tried.
