Your inflow valve is probably clogged. This is what allows the water in and how fast. You can change this also for a minimal cost.

Could be a few reasons, an ill fitting or cracked dress cover can sit to low, or abrasive wear and tear can grip the button restricting it from free movement. I fixed mine by placing a couple of small fishing sinkers in the bottom of the plunger giving it a little more weight.

the connection rod under the lid is broken or not making the connection just lift the lift to see.

Check flushing mechanism at the bottom of tank to check if it vopens and closes securely. and nothing blocks it.

I had the same problem. The fix cost me 50 cents (literally). I just placed a quarter on top of the Blue and White flush buttons (not sure of the technical terms) inside the tank and now it flushes properly. It seems that the 2 plastic poles the extend from the faux chrome buttons are just a bit too short.

Right behind the bowl on the underside there is a nut on either side that holds the seat on...tighten those nuts and it will tighten down the seat...

most modern toilets do not have an overflow pipe to outside instead they overflow into the bowl itself so have to adjust level so it does not overflow into return

Generally tight enough to sinch it so as not to leak.

If the whole unit moves on the floor the wax ring may need to be replaced. If the tank leaks be sure the bolts are tightened evenly with new gaskets sealing them inside the tank. Tighten the nuts evenly until it stops moving freely and the leak should stop.

Your float is not working properly., take off lid a watch float and readjust, or float has a leak make sure no liquid in float.

I'm afraid that there is little that can be done other than replacing the valve when they go bad. You should try to adjust the water level, but usually the best thing to do is to replace it.

If the factory end is no available a quick fix is a paper clip. You will need to adjust the length of the chain.

Install a new one it is not possible to repair the flapper when it is torn.
