Ten years ,thats good but now needs to be replaced, newer models now available.

Force the brush tip back and forth, especially along the toilet jets (holes under rim), around the water line and on visible stains. Scrub until stains are gone, reapplying cleaner as necessary, then flush twice. To make your toilet bowl clean again, start with a dry bowl so water won't dilute the cleaner.

This is a bit of a puzzle, if theres water in the Suniplus then the float valve will operate and the water will pumped out as it does for the toilet and wash basin. I can only think that the bath discharge none return valve is stuck and needs removing and cleaning. Hope that solves the problem. Alllan

Sounds like your external pipe may have a blockage tap the pipe to see if your hear a thud if it sounds clear check the toilet outflow pipe the same.. You may need to have your external pipes rodded.

If anything goes wrong with the unit it usually happens in the pressure chamber, the motors are very durable, any part in there can be replaced. Im thinking the capacitor might have seized up and will probably need to be replaced.

Could be an obstruction in the blade, impeller or the discharge line. Also the starting capacitor may have gone bad and is not keeping up with the head pressure, it may need to be replaced. But i would suggest inspectin the unit first for any obstructions.

Is your Saniplus humming or motor spinning slow or not at all?It is likely the internal motor control capacitor - It is the most common replacement part for these units and a fairly simple DIY although you will need rubber gloves and bleach. Rick: It sounds like the grinder is bound up in the unit. Hair can get wrapped around the grinder blade and freeze it up. Take the unit out and remove the grinder blade and see if that fixes the problem. New grinder blades are available from Saniflow USA.

Jim:The check valve should be the fitting coming right out of the unit. It is a one way valve that only allows the unit to push water out. The check valve prevents water from coming back down into the unit. What issues are you having?Martin Rizzo ([email protected])
