How to unstop kitchen sink with disposal. I have a septic system. water goes down one side and up the other side.

Yes. I am familiar with these. You or someone will be needing to take a large bucket or some pans and put them under the sink and undo all the pipes and the drains and the garbage disposal. You will find a plugged up pipe. I have already unplugged my daughter's about 10 times in the last 10 years. Usually, the problem is she has put something down the sink she shouldn't have. Example: Egg shells. Will not wash down. Rough silage: Clogs pipes. When you get it apart, you will likely identify the product causing the problem. God bless your efforts.

How to access O-rings? (Faucet won't pivot)

You'll have to turn off the water using the shutoffs or if there are none by turning off the main. open a faucet on the lower floor of the home to remove most of the water out of the system if you have to shut the main. using an allen key remove the handle. then using an adjustable wrench or crescent wrench or as a last resort a set of channel locks remove the big nut at the top of the faucet and remove the stainless steel ball assembly. You'll have to undo the hose going to the faucet from under the counter and pull the spray attachment out. Then wiggle and pull up on the spout to slide it off. Clean any lime deposits with CLR or any other descaler. You can scrape some of it off with a knife if you must. When both the spout and the shaft where it is to slide onto are both clean remove the old o-rings, replace with the new ones. Slide the spout back on. You can grease the o-rings with plumbers grease to help seal them but also to help slide on the spout easier. You can replace the seals and springs inside where the stainless steel ball goes if you please. Reassemble everything. Turn on the water. Remove and clean the aerator of any debris (done every time you do plumbing) Test that the faucet moves from side to side without leaking. Different models may have different procedures and or different o-rings in different locations. Do what you must to change the o-ring that needs changing.

Kohler 10433 wont pivot side

It just needs to be lubed, but when you take apart to do that you my as well put in new O-rings, and get some plumbers lube for the job anything with a petroleum base will not last and well also shorten the life of the O-rings.
You get a parts break down from Kohler's web site to help with repair.

I have lost virtually all

Hi,
I assume that you have removed the aerator on the end of the spout and cleaned that out first thing...

If that is not the problem then the possibilities get tougher...
The passageways in many of the newer faucets are very tiny and clog easily...
The best way I have found to clean them out is to remove the aerator...
The disconnect the supply tubes underneath...
Then with the faucet open to the hot or the cold side one at a time blow compressed air backwards through the faucet to blow the dirt back out the way it got in there...

Most of the time, that will work, but sometimes it does not and then the whole faucet is junk...

Hopefully this will work for you..

Water is leaking at the base of the faucet not

You probably have a torn O - ring on the base. You'll need to remove the handle assembly and unscrew the top section to gain access to that O - ring. Remove O - ring in as few pieces as possible and take it to your local hardware store with the piece the O- ring goes on to get a replacement. Lightly grease the O-ring with vegetable oil before installing to aid in swiveling the spout. It is necessary to take at least 1 piece of the O- ring for matching up the diameter. Auto parts stores also have O-ring selections but may not have the correct diameter and thickness. You must have the exact size and thickness - anything else will not work, and close to it won't work either.

First try the tip ariator. it can plug up. then you have to check the inlet system, which includes shut off valves, hoses to the faucet and the cartridge. It is the cartridge that has the small openings, but shut off valve seat material falls back into the feed channel. I usually remove cartridge, cover with a towel and turn on feed water briefly. Often I get little pieces.

Water leaking from bottom part of the faucet

I had a similar problem with my relatively new Forte model. I disassembled the handle, removed the retaining ring and the valve assembly. I thought at first it was the valve assembly but wasn't convinced. I continued to remove the entire faucet hub by gripping and pulling straight up. When I did, the diverter valve popped out of the back to the counter behind the sink. I cleaned all the parts up, made sure all the rings were in place, presse the diverter securely into place back in its hole, and reassembled the rest of the parts. That seemed to do the trick. I'm guessing that the diverter lost its seal and was displaced inside the hub. Hope that helps someone else.
