The cartridge collar of our Moen Monticello faucet

It sounds like the fine threads on the collar are stripped. Either replace the collar, or try some locktite.

What do i need to do to get a better water flow from my moen kitchen faucet #7700. when you turn on and wash hands it sprays water all over counter-

Sounds like your spray head on the faucet needs replacing. They do plug up with rust and corrosion every so often. You can take it off and try to clean it but be very careful it may still spray when you put it back together.

There is a leak where the spray arm connects to the water faucet under the sink. The connection is a snap connection rather than a screw on type.

With this type of faucet when you push the 2 pieces together there should be a small rubber O ring, if this is not in the correct position there won't be a proper seal. If you have some vasalien rub it on the O ring and it should help it fit better, it also should click when you push it together.

Moen balancing spool

Moens balancing spool moves back and forth inside the cylinder to regulate flow of water to keep you from getting scalded. If it is not working properly you can get to much of hot or cold water coming out of the spout....or low to no water coming out.

No Hot water coming out

Cartridge removal is a simple matter of exposing and pulling out the old cartridge. Before getting started, turn off both water valves underneath the sink and allow the water to run until the line is clear. Using a screwdriver, gently pry off the cap on the lever of the faucet handle to expose the cartridge. Remove the U-shaped retaining clip that holds the cartridge in place and pull the cartridge out. If dirt or residue makes removal difficult, use a Moen cartridge puller to assist you. A cartridge puller fits over the cartridge and gives you greater pulling power.

Soak the dirty cartridge in vinegar for four hours and replace.

If cleaning the cartridge does not work, call the Moen Helpline at 1-800-465-6636 or Customer Service at 1-800-465-6130 to order a free replacement. Locate the part number on the cover page of your instruction manual. If you no longer have the manual, look on the underside of the spout.

How do I clean the

If you are talking about the areator you can remove it by turning it to your right . You can remove the screens and brass disc and clean them with soft brush and cleaner like mild C.L.R. and water solution. This will clean lime and mineral scale from them. Do not use this on outside finish. Use softscrub and soft cloth to clean. If the finish is too badly discolored you can get replacements at most hardware stores or for special finishes go to moen.com for location of dealer nearest to you. To install just reverse steps. I hope this helps you. Thanks
