Normally I would suggest adjusting the settings on the connected devices but in this case you have already tried two different devices on two different inputs (If these have been connected to the same input then I would still suggest adjusting the settings on the connected devices i.e. setting the resolution to 720p and disabling any automatic resolution detection). If you have tried two different inputs the television might be at fault. The inverters might be loose.
If this is the case RCA might foot the bill or at least buy the parts.
Try a component cable instead of hdmi if you are able if you haven't already tried this.

Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact the same as the original remote.

Is it connected with HDMI? or Component, or AV cables? If HDMI, is it
connected to an AV receiver? if so, disconnect from the AV receiver and connect straight to cable box. You may also try connecting component cables if you have them
HDMI is still quirky depending on your receiver, cable box etc. Lots of veriables.

Check that first, if you still have an issue, post a comment with all makes
and models of products connected and I can help further.

I may have lost the 24vdc power supply or the backlight inverter board shorted out or not getting the ON command to the inverter, please read my guide to understand how LCD TV works.

This is LCD flat panel TV, not LCD projection TV. It does not have user replaceable lamps.
What is it not doing?

Ur tv LCD inverter board it dead.Replaced this LCD inverter board ur tv picture will return.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.It a long board in shape.

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with try running a lens cleaning disc, if that does not work then you have to open the unit and clean the lens with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol. If still the issue is not resolved then the lens should be replaced however, replacing a lens will cost you around $75. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Are you saying that the dvd loading screen displays on your set, but that loaded movies do not? Does this mean other sources display fine (ANT or cable, and that the trouble you would like to fix is video from he dvd player only?

Do you hear any sound after the screen goes blank? Is there any blinking light code? Any green light or red light flashing? If there is, how many blinks?

Ur LCD inverter board is dead,replaced this board to get picture back.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com for the board part.White patch is a unknown,some kind dead LCD dead pixels.

First palce to look will be the power supply, look for bad caps with bulging tops, make some voltage checking at the power supply output connectors also, it should have 5vdc (for logic circuits), 12vdc ( for sound and mics circuits), 24vdc for back light inverter.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.
