your tv has a bad power supply module. with the model and serial number look it up on ebay, they are like $60. buy a new one and replace it.

To enter the service mode: press the menu button and scroll/highlight the install. Now press 4725 on the remote. this will activate the service menu of the TV.

Check for screws on the interior of the back panel, not just around the edge. There are screw around the panel where the plugs are connect.

Sounds to me like, if it happens with all disks, your laser is either dirty or bad. Go into the device manager and see if the driver says it loaded ok. No yellow question marks or red anything. There are cleaning disks you can buy at wal-mart or whatever. Try blowing it out with canned air. Don't use a straw and your human breath.

1. Power the set down.
2. Hold the eject button on the drive while you plug it back in and power it back up.

That should eject the drive.

I would like to know how to remove dvd from hdlcd combo tv

There should be a tiny hole somewhere on the front of the DVD tray, where you put the disk in. If it's not on the tray itself, it should be very close to it. Bend a paper clip out a bit, and carefully press it into that tiny little hole, and the tray should open up. If that doesn't work, then it's physically jammed, and mechanically unable to open.

Both with the tuner and the DVD the unit listed should have?

Replace any swolen capacitors on power board. If still not working replaced main board.

I would start with having the power supply checked. If the power supply is in good working order, I would then suspect the main board.

Hi,what makes the Red box tapes not loading properly, is because the Lens inside the DVD section that makes a DVD plate play when inserted is weak and needs to be replaced.

When a Lens is weak,it will not allow you to watch a full movie or play a CD properly. Might stop on the way..

What to do is this, you will need to clean the Lens with a DVD lens cleaner.You can buy from Online stores and it comes with instructions..

But note after cleaning the DVD lens, if still does the same way,that means you will have to replace the Lens inside the DVD player section.

To replace the Lens, contact the nearest repair store or outlet around your area..

Hi, sounds like the laser pickup (module) is faulty and needs replacing, you'd have to take it in for repair or if you are able to repair it yourself make a note of the laser pickup number (usually on the side of the pickup) you may need a magnifing glass to read it then search google for it, they are usually pretty easy to get, if not contact your local repair shop, they may be good enough to order one for you,

You must take your set in to have the player removed, dis-mantled and the disc removed. I never recommend to my customers ever buying a built in unit. Just food for thought the next time you purchase a set. Always buy separate.

Same thing just happend to me this week - same TV about 1 year old! Any ideas how to get it out?

I have had this problem. Unplugging the unit from the power source for 5 minutes and plugging back in solved the problems. This has happend twice in 1 year.
