I think the problem is your wi fi. You see nintendo uses a different security setting when connecting to the internet( i am unsure as to why) than most other consoles. You have to access your router settings by putting in your routers IP address in the search bar then enter your router username and password(it is normaly admin and admin for both but it may be different for you) If the password is not admin smply look on the back of the router for it. Now you find the option named internet connection and you should see an option called security or connection type. Then you want to pick the option WAP(default is WEP) and then save it. With this new security setting you should have no probelms connectiong to the game.

Well you were certainly thinking the thing about taking the battery out of the DS, what I would do is to try and get the screw out of the socket. And then if that doesn't work I recommend having it looked at and repaired by professionals such as "Nintendo Customer Service"(NCS).P.S. to make an appointment with NCS hold down "Ctrl" and left click on "Nintendo Customer Service".

The reason the screen isn't showing-up is probably because of runny colors or blotchy colors permanently stained on the screen, even when the Nintendo DS Lite is OFF, my guess is that the liquid crystal display (LCD) is cracked. And also, there are multiple reasons for your speakers not working properly. The main reasons for the speakers not working would be the following;

• Something small must have gotten wedged inside of the speakers.
• A type of liquid and/or sticky substance leaked into speakers.
• Lots of pressurized force on upper screen(which could have also caused the damage done to the screen).

What I would recommend is make an appointment with "Nintendo customer service".

My first guess would be to Turn the power off for a moment and then turn it back on. Repeat whatever you did that caused the error to occur. If the same message still appears, then the best thing to do would be to register a system inspection with Nintendo Customer Service.

This indicates that one of the lcd screens has gone. Depending on which screen flashes it is the opposite screen (the one that doesnt flash) that has gone. Screens can be bought off of ebay very cheaply and are relatively easy to fit. There are some good guides on the internet explaining step by step how to fit new screens.

If the board (PCB) is not damaged you can re-solder the wires back. If the PCB is damaged you should be able to get new ones by looking up the make and model of the device and look for the specific part.

The DSi has several system updates specifically designed to block flashcarts such as the R4. Check the R4 website to see if they have information on what to do if your DSi has blocked the cart. You might be able to do an update to the R4 to fix it. Another option is to get a different cart that has a work-around built in, such as the "SuperCard DSTwo" which has a small chip inside it that other carts don't have and has a file you can download directly onto the memory card that goes into the cart to update it whenever that happens.
