Hello, Kindly try the following... - remove the battery and power on the laptop using power cable. - issue not fixed.. remove the power cable and make sure you have not installed the battery ...then press and hold the power button for 30 sec.. then check at the bottom of the laptop if you have access to memory card if so try to open the back cover and reset the memory card and check. -issue not fixed.. if you have access to the wifi card try and reset the wifi card and check -if the memory card and wifi card is inaccessible then you will need to visit service center or call support

it more than likely will.it depends on how old the battery is and how the laptop power is managed.

you mean even power light is not on? try to do power drain by removing the battery and charger then press the power button for a minute then plug back in the charger then try to turn it on..if it is still not turning on it could be a LCD issue or motherboard.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies and Driver downloads as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

Driver are very easy to obtain.
First eneble the windows update. now navigate to update option and check for windows updates. most of the drivers are automatically installed with the latest drivers.
another option is updating via device manager.
1, inthe start menu type "device manager" 2, launch device manager 3, click on your computers name 4, right click and select the option "Scan for new hardware" this step will look for any undetected devices on the laptop. 5,the vaio's bd rom will be detected as a new hardware and the drivers will be installed.
make sure you are connected to the intenet during all the steps. tis may consume a data usage of under 15mb. The bd rom Driver is about 3.5MB

put in a windows disk,,cd,,,,,restrt cpu,,,push esc button boot options,,,also check sony website may need a bis update ,,

open internet explorer and then go to the Page tab, then look for zoom......now change it to something better

1. click on language bar down
2. click on show the language bar
3.it will go up
4. click on the arrow that goes down click on settings
a window will appear click on "ADD" on the right choose english click ok and then ok again and there u go

I don't know the best solution so I won't give any.

what you did though was probably this: When you installed windows 7 the driver was probably already installed and when you downloaded a driver you used one that was older or incompatible with windows 7. Thats just my guess for what its worth. Could try a system restore to before you downloaded that driver. There are probably other solutions better than reinstalling windows 7. I'll let somebody else comment.

Dont know if this is any help to you but here is the driver package , the original driver at top is windows vista, but i think the list below is optional. have a look might help.

Follow the procedure below to resolve the issue:
