Fuji FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera Questions & Answers
I am looking for a lens cap that will fit a Fuji Finepix S2000HD digital camera
let me just say that fuji sells the products but doesn't stock replacement parts.. i contacted fuji and they set me an email to call the 800 number. called and they refered me to another 800 number and then they in turn refered me back to the original 800 number. so if anyone is looking for a lens cap don't waste you're time.. they don't carry them..
Fix zoom error
The lens probably has some dirt or pocket fuzz caught in it. Try spraying around it with a can of compressed air when it is extended. Also spray the lens.
On my Fuji s2000hd I have a zoom error, the
Hello
The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair
center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope
the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.

My focus button keeps sticking on my Fujifilm S2000HD camera.?
Have you tried focusing before you take a photo? To do this, press down the shutter button on your camera but don't push it far enough to take a photo. This enables the camera to focus on what it's about to photograph before you press the shutter button again and take the photo.
Card error when i inserted the sd card
The error may be caused by ...- the SD card is corrupted- the camera doesn't support the SD card's size or format- the SD card contacts (to the camera) is faulty- the SD card has (content) specifications (e.g. read/write speed) that is not compatible with those that the camera support ... e.g. camera expects a Class 6 or higher, and your card is Class 2Check the camera manual - specifications, to see if it matches and support the SD card (format, size, storage capacity, etc.)Check the SD card specification to see if it matches.
Card error when insert sd card
Firstly backup your sd card on a windows or mac desktop/laptop and then format it. Then try inserting that sd card again and if everything goes well format it through your camera itself.
Shaking icon always displays on fuji camera
On a Fuji camera, the little "camera icon" looks like it is "shaking" with an "apostrophe" next to is to signify a low light condition and shows up when the flash is turned off. A bad symbol choice in my mind but so be it.
