try with a bunch of FRESH plain printer paper to ensure the slip is not due to roller wear-n-tear
Black tinting or scumming on pages
HP has a cleaning page that can be created to help remove toner build up on the fuser roller and I believe one for the drum also. Print "Menu Map" to find the cleaning page quickly. These are the two areas that need to be cleaned to help eliminate the "scumming". I would also look inside the device after removing the print/toner cartridge and if you have the toner wipes, remove any toner spillage inside. please do not use paper towels as they shred too easily and will mess up the transfer roller.
When I click on a print job it won't print. Tells me their is a jam.
Make sure you open all the doors and check all paper paths as it can get one stuck at the very initial take up of the paper from the tray and is easy to miss as it is in the back. Once you are sure that the paths are clear, if it does not reset it self, try a cold shut down and restart. That seemed to fix it for me.
The unit continues to reprint the last fax. When trying to fax it reboots itself and reprints the last fax again
Have you tried going to Hewlett Packs web page I believe there is a firmware update for that printer. That hopefully should take care of it. If you are still having problems call Hp directly and tell them what is going on. You pay good money for there printers that is the least they could do for you is help you out when things don't work correctly. FYI ( if you have to resort to calling hp on the phone be patient because they are not the fastest tech support around and at times it can be very frustrating waiting) Good Luck!

Verify that the input tray is not overfilled. The input tray capacity varies depending on the type of print media that you are using.
-
Verify that the media guides are properly adjusted.
-
Check that the input tray is securely in place and it is the default feeding tray.
-
Do not add print media into the input tray while the product is printing.
-
Use only HP-recommended media types and sizes.
-
Do not fan media prior to loading it in a tray. To loosen the ****, hold it firmly in both hands and twist the media by rotating your hands in the opposite direction.

Do not let print media stack up in the output bin. The print media type and the amount of toner used affect the output bin capacity.
-
Check the power connection. Make sure that the power cord is firmly connected to both the product and the power supply box. Plug the power cord into a grounded power outlet.
Check for any small objects that might have caused a jam from the input tray and the rear output door.
Keep me posted.

Hi. My HP Color
Hi
I suggest you to printer preferences or properties and choose the correct setting there like uncheck the GRAYSCALE to print in color.
Go to printer icon, right click mouse and choose either printing preferences or properties.
If not, there is also option in the printer preferences to choose RESTORE DEFAULT SETTING.
If still not solve, set up once more the printer and print the test page.
I hope it helps you . Post comment if you need more help. Regards
