Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C902 Cellular Phone - Page 7 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

almost impossible to change this C902 housing. :( i tried twice..re-assemble everything..looks like Sony don't want us to change it.

i have this problem to. Can somebody help us in this?anyone?

Call the service provider.

I have seen many solutions, one is pressing C after taking battery out. That is wrong. It doesn't work.
This is what you should do:

1. Connect your C902 phone with the USB cable provided
2. Make sure C902 disc is in your disc drive
3. Now go to PC Suite (may ask for update, say yes)
4. Go to repair and follow instructions
5. Takes 15 minutes to complete all of this.

See your provider

switch off ur phone , remove ur memory card , wipe the golden coloured connecters with a damp cloth , insert it and remove it 2-3 times in quick succession , insert it start your phone and it should work fine , just try this it really works.

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

Hi,

The PUK code is only available directly from your Network Provider. PUK is a personal unblocking key which is actually related to the Sim card and not the actual phone itself. Your Network provider is the only way to gain access to this information so you will need to contact them.

The good news is the Network provider will give you the PUK for free.

All you need to do is ring your provider (on another phone obviously) and once they have established that you are the owner of the phone they will give you the PUK for free and directions on how to enter it into your phone.

PUK code is cell phone independent . it depends on the sim card that u use .PUK code can be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number. again u will have to give some identification for proof .Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no. If you cant contact through your phone get some other phone and contact them.U can also get it from the nearest service provider .

NOTE: You should ask your service provider,get the PUK,if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM

There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.

And this is the C902 phone? Have you ever been able to successfully take pictures, or has it never worked? It sounds like the lens cover sensor has issues, but please confirm these questions and I can help.
