I can't get Outlook set up for my new ymail
my understanding is that you need to have yave yahoo plus to get this to work, yahoo plus is the paid version for you to have pop access which means be able to use an email client (like outlook) to retrieve yahoo mail there.
now if you have not paid for yahoo plus you can do the following:
1. switch your yahoo account to be localized to asia, which should also (for now) allow you to use pop access on a free yahoo account, you need to look around into the account options (Its under Account Info, Account Settings,Set Language Site and Time Zone or something like that)
2. once 1 has been completed go into yahoo and add your yahoo account,
* for logon info use only your yahoo user name (not the @yahoo.com)
* enter your correct password
*for incoming email server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
*for outgoing email server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
3. go into more settings>advance
* incoming server port should be 110
*outgoing server port should be 587
good luck

Go to your inbox.
Above the messages, there's a Blue link which is written: "View: All Messages" after this sentence there's a arrow symbol, click on it, then it shows a menu which contain:
All messages

I lost my emails since I upgraded from windoows xp to windows 7
Features available through Yahoo! Mail include unlimited storage, the ability to view photos and videos from your inbox and the ability to send 50 files or 100MB worth of attachments in a single email.
You can also access Yahoo!'s instant messaging software from your inbox and check email on your mobile phone and other Internet-enabled devices.
Before signing up for Yahoo! mail, check its compatibility with your version of Internet Explorer.Standard Yahoo! Mail
Yahoo! Mail's standard interface works with Internet Explorer 7 and higher.
However, Internet Explorer 7 users may be unable to use the reply bar, slideshows or Yahoo! Messenger from their inbox.
To access these features, use at least Internet Explorer 9. All Internet Explorer users must have Windows 7, XP or Vista to use the standard form of Yahoo! mail. Mac operating systems using Internet Explorer are not supported by the current version of Yahoo! Mail.
Older Option
Users who want to use Yahoo! Mail Classic will find it compatible with Internet Explorer 6, as well as newer versions of the browser.
Yahoo! announced to customers in July 2011 that it would soon stop supporting Internet Explorer 6. Yahoo! Mail Classic works with Windows 2000, XP and Vista, as well as Windows 7.
Yahoo! Mail Classic lacks many of the upgrades found in the current version of the email program.
Upgrades
While Yahoo! Mail supports older versions of Internet Explorer, the company recommends that users upgrade to the most current version.
Yahoo! says using the newest browser software provides more speed and added protection against viruses and software.
Enabling ActiveX
If you plan to use the current version of Yahoo! Mail on a Windows machine, you'll want to enable your computer's ActiveX controls so you can access all the features of the email program.
To do this, go to the "Tools" menu or the gear symbol in Internet Explorer, then select "Internet Options" and "Security."
Click on "Internet," then "Custom Level."
Scroll down to "Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins" and "Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting." Enable each of these options and save your settings.
Reboot Internet Explorer.
