Faucet leaks when i turn

you need a new cartridge is bad and sounds like some junk is inside. You might have lime and even a broken part inside.

I dont think you will be able to fix it this weekend. It is hard to fine parts, if you check your local stores that sell pluming parts they :MIGHT" have the one that fits yours.

I have ot say one nite I had a person where I could not get the parts, but they had the same faucet. So I got the set, took the parts out, got new part fixed like new and took it back.

You go where you have to in talking care of your clients.

Be safe and take care.

Kohler shower valve (hot/cold switched)

Just had this same thing, on this exact faucet. If you still have the manual, it has instructions on how to rotate the valve for back to back installations where one shower has the hot/cold reversed. Our contractor got ours in backwards the first time and I had to call and have them come out and rotate the valve this morning.

Actually one or more o rings in your faucet are worn and leaking. get a faucet repair kit especially for your k-10430 if you are mechanically minded. If not call an appliance store and see how much they would charge to install a repair kit. regards, joe

Delta single handle kitchen sink faucet

Tuen the stops off unsder the sink . Remove the alaen screw from the handle. Using a spanner wrinch or a needle nosed pliers spred apart unscrew the large nut that has two slots. Lift the whole assembly out. Take assembly to the plunmbign supply and match ius the kit that youy need with has two new rubber seals and two springs and maybe a new spanner nut. It also comes with the spanner wrench  and allen wrench  needed to renstall. Tip you may be able just to tighten the spanner nut(clockwise) and stop the leak w/o rebuilding it.

Leak

You need to go to the Kohler website and look for your model number. Sometimes, you can get an expanded view of the faucet for download. If you can't, then get their contact info and give them a call. They can usually fax it to you. Hopefully this helps.

How do I remove the plastic insert to access the cartridge on a Kohler K-171 kitchen faucet?

To remove the plastic insert on your Kohler K-171 kitchen faucet, you can follow these steps: First, turn off the water supply to the faucet. Next, remove the handle of the faucet by unscrewing the set screw on the underside of the handle using a hex wrench or an Allen key. Once the handle is removed, you should see a plastic insert that covers the cartridge. To remove this insert, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it off. Once the plastic insert is removed, you should be able to access the cartridge. If you need more detailed instructions, you can refer to the installation manual for your Kohler K-171 kitchen faucet .

Have Taboret K 8201-4 bathroom faucet with T handles.

Question edited to fix the typos. Always worrying when they discontinue lines, and it makes you wonder why? https://www.us.kohler.com/us/taboret-centerset-bathroom-sink-faucet-with-lever-handles/productDetail/product:420060/420060.htm I normally find that they use steel screws and they stick. Make some sort of a dam around the screw with stout polythene like Ziploc bag and electrical tape to seal the base. Then squirt penetrating oil or WD40 in there to cover the screw head. Top it up a couple of times a day and do that for two days. That should loosen it up and get the oil down the threads. Often it is just easier to buy a new set.
